Sure. But you just described healthcare alone. What about the impact on those that could not hold a full-time job, or a job at all, because of the impact Obamacare had on companies? I agree that it's all very hard to quantify, but there are a lot of people's lives that were impacted negatively because of Obamacare, aside from direct healthcare-related issues. now can get insurance/medical care and thus a better life is a positive. Increasing the premiums on their neighbor would be a negative. But how much more should the life of the person saved be against the added expense to the neighbor?
There is no easy solution to this. The Donks gave out freebies and there is no way to take it away now. And with that, there is no way to make 100% of the population happy. It's now a matter of getting the best bang for the taxpayer's buck. And there will never be a consensus on the best approach.
