As horrible as that would be that would be it'd be better than Trump or Pence.

What the **** is it that you are concerned about with regard to a President?
Name the policies that affect you and America as a whole that you see as important.
I don't accept the premise that only the immediate policy situation is important. I think the nature of the individual in the office is important. The individual is the Chief Executive of the Executive Branch. He is the Commander in Chief of the Military. No sane person wants a nut job in a position like that and we have a nut job in a position like that now.

Also, with respect to policy, there is consideration of the long term. I'm not writing anything you haven't already read from me but I'll write it again: The Republican Party destroyed its credibility by nominating Trump. And the situation got even worse when he won the Presidency while losing the popular vote due the Electoral College system. The Republican Party was already in big trouble for the long term and it's in a lot bigger trouble now. Doing something like nominating Marco Rubio MIGHT have given them a chance. Their chance of avoiding inevitable irrelevance now ranks somewhere between slim and none.

Nominating then supporting Trump is simply indefensible to rational people. It's not going to happen.

I personally think this guy got lucky:

I think there were factors in play that are not considered by his model. Like for instance Hillary having had a private e mail server then having Comey rock the boat shortly before the election.

Nevertheless, he did predict Trump winning. So if you want to see something about someone who predicted Trump would win but also predicted he will be impeached, there it is.

Me, I'd say more probably than not he won't be impeached because the Republicans control Congress. You never know though. Republicans probably think Pence would be a better President anyway.

They're in a box though. They've destroyed their credibility and that's not going to change regardless of what they do.
