Meh. The audio doesn't sound like this reporter was harassing the candidate. He asked 2 questions. He wasn't violent. He wasn't aggressive. He wasn't rude. He wasn't asking anything personal...Violating personal space...sure. Maybe. But that doesn't mean you can grab a man by his throat and knock him to the ground then start hitting him.

If the big, bad, meanie reporter was only asking questions and/or getting a mic a little too close to the guys face, so be it. I would expect the dude to have much more self-restraint. I worry about people like that who can't control themselves just because someone might be pestering them a little bit. To me he just proved that he's probably not suited for a high-stress position like a gubna.

I guess the lesson here is that people who are naturally submissive are OK with others violating them.

That's apparently the direction this once great country is drifting in.

He's (likely) going to spend the next two years dealing with a herd of reporters every day he's in Washington.

I wonder how he'll react at one of these town halls with a constituent tearing into him about a shitty healthcare bill.

His opponent, who is both from and in Montana, hasn't assaulted anyone. He just likes to roll a J and pick on his guitar. Also evade taxes.

Yeah, but there's really not much debate on that one. This one people are speaking in certainties when they weren't there, no video, audio comes in late, etc... I just always love how people can know everything there is to know.

Yeah and it's not like the two other previous counts of aggravated assault can be used against him in court...
