To me, that's Jordan taking control. If Jordan played with these rules, he would have had a lot more lay-ups and a lot more free throws. Jordan used to get hammered, even with the "Jordan Rules" in place, and few fouls were called, compared to what's a foul on Lebron in today's NBA. Jordan might have been around 40 ppg with today's rules. Almost every drive to the basket, there could be a foul called on Lebron.
