Wait, is that GSU the team from Grambling? Or is it the one from Georgia State? Or is it Georgia Southern? I wish school acronyms were more widely accepted and acknowledged. For instance, everyone knows that USC refers to Southern Cal. Just keep it simple!CID1990 wrote:Why would someone from GSU have an inferiority complex?Chizzang wrote:

Did you know? GSU plays football in FBS.
Did you know ? GSU has the world's largest tick collection.
Ivy League schools have neither of these

Offer them an invitation to an event where they can sign up for free healthcare, join a pride group, get coupons for skinny jeans, get free coffee, get free hacky sacks, and use any safe space or bathroom they want.
If they show up, tell them they are denied.

You apparently have a hard time telling the difference between being troubled by or disagreeing with something versus being offended and upset by it. And the difference between wanting to revoke an institutions right or privilege to do something versus how those rights or privileges are used.Chizzang wrote: I'm not defending Harvard as much as I am defending the idea of a private organization having the right to do whatever they damn well please no matter how many snowflakes like you it upsets
I don't have a whole lot of sympathy for the students. After what happened with Harvard's soccer team you would assume a matriculated Ivy League student would be smart enough to not piss of Chairman Mao and and the Social Justice Committee. This really goes beyond Harvard, though.

They're free to do what they want but I think it'd be better if they didn't exclude people based on stuff like that. Like for instance I think someone should be able to openly declare that they are a racist and still be admitted if they meet the admissions criteria related to ability. If you do otherwise you are participating in the repression of free thought.
