We have an unfortunate situation in which my "side,"....the conservative side...has largely become detached from reality. I don't know how you can win in the long term when you're not dealing with reality.

Again, you're reading comprehension needs some work. I never mentioned Flynn. I also never said anyone broke laws or did something illegal. I never attempted to make a comparison to Hillary.

I reacted to Joey's comment of "nothing suspicious". That seems to REALLY trouble you and you're rather desperately now casting the kitchen sink.

If you look back on my posts, I've taken a wait and see approach to all of this. I'm not sure where it all heads but there's every reason to have suspicion. A number of conservatives have also publicly criticized Trump and shown suspicion so your accusation of my *leftward leanings carries no water.

And I've never had a problem admitting that I lean left. I think labels are fairly meaningless at this point but I'm perfectly fine with the descriptor "liberal". Liberal to me means liberty loving and open minded. Sorry that's a pejorative for you.

On the first three of those, there was a boldfaced government official, committing clear acts of perjury or contempt (Lois Lerner copped the 5th before she would have had to lie)

two of them were cabinet level - Holder and Clapper

and yet Benghazi sucked all the air out of the room - for almost nothing.... but, like the Whitewater investigation, it turned up Hillary's spunk-stained blue dress... her email server

It's always the bright shiny object that distracts from the real issues, but it can also reveal other things...

thats why I said before that Trump and Co probably arent worried about collusion on the election because they know it isnt there. But there's no such thing as a billionaire real estate developer who doesnt have shady sh1t going on .... and special prosecutors have a tendency to dig that stuff out like boogers

With all due respect your post is an illustration of a very big problem we have in this country right now. The Russia story is not "fake news." There is an investigation of Russian efforts to impact our election going on right now. That is the truth. Our intelligence agencies believe the Russians did make the effort. That is the truth. The investigation includes looking into whether or not there was collusion between the Russians and some people in the Trump campaign. That is the truth.

But we have a President who operates via the lie. He lies constantly. And he has been successful in getting away with it with this "fake news" shtick that you have apparently fallen prey to and are perpetuating.

We have a serious problem when we've got a President who operates through misinformation and deception and he has convinced almost half the population that the people who are calling him out on it are "fake news."
