I love when right wing snowflakes get offended.

They had the audacity to allow a muslim group to reserve space for a picnic.

Great response by the zoo.
Following the release of a 46-second video on Youtube, it appears that the presence of this group at safari park has offended people, whether present or not, during the day.

Safari Park is sorry that freedom of religion may offend people. In any case, this was not the objective.
Since last Sunday, Safari Park has been a victim of hate and racist comments.

Safari Park is a place where everyone is welcome. A Zoological institution is by definition a multicultural place where small and large can discover the wonderful diversity of nature and animals and thus develop affection and respect for this diversity, these differences, and their intrinsic beauty.

We repeat: Safari Park is a place for everyone, regardless of nationality, religion, colour, culture or sexual orientation. Safari Park will not accept any call to hate or inappropriate vocabulary on our social networks, by phone or on its site. All hate messages or inappropriate messages will be deleted from our page.

New York Times :ohno: :ohno:

Correction: July 4, 2017

Because of an editing error, an earlier version of this article attributed incorrectly a Twitter statement to the North Korean government. The North Korean government did not belittle a joint American-South Korean military exercise as “demonstrating near total ignorance of ballistic science,” that statement was from the DPRK News Service, a parody Twitter account.

I stuck it in the thread for stories that don't deserve their own thread. If it's just for US topics, I'll stick to US topics. So sorry.

I think it's pretty obvious that the "right" is not in a real good position to cast stones about going retard right now.

Her focus groups said people would find it funny and it could work for her, hence why she went with it.

Ghost of John Reynolds almost claims a victim.

Gettysburg isn't the best place to make your stand for the Confederacy.

Image
A "patriot" who brought a revolver to Gettysburg National Military Park Saturday amid rumors of desecration of memorials accidentally shot himself in the leg Saturday.

Benjamin Hornberger, 23, of Shippensburg, accidentally triggered the revolver, which was inside a leg holster, when he temporarily rested the bottom of his flag pole against the holster, according to witnesses.
Park police were nearby when the shooting occurred and officers quickly applied a tourniquet that may have saved the man's life, said Sgt. Anna Rose, a spokeswoman with the U.S. Park Police.

A tourniquet type device covered the wound on the man's left thigh as he was loaded into an ambulance. He talked with paramedics and seemed in good spirits.

The gun then went off a second time about 1 p.m. when police were trying to unload the weapon. The gun was pointed at the ground in a field north of Meade's Headquarters along the west side of Taneytown Road. A PennLive reporter witnessed the second shot, which occurred as visitors to the park milled nearby.

Girl, 11, Stopped For Speeding Says Her Mom Lets Her Drive

HOUSTON (AP) — An 11-year-old Houston-area girl who was pulled over for speeding told police that her mother allows her to drive but that this was the first time without an adult.

Police in Pasadena say the girl told them she was driving her 10-year-old brother home after they stopped her for driving 49 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Their 25-year-old mother, Maria DeJesus Lopez, has been charged with two counts of child endangerment and is free on $3,000 bond following a Monday court appearance.

Police spokesman Vance Mitchell says the girl told officers it wasn’t the first time her mother had allowed her drive, but that this was the only time alone with her brother.
