I normally try to avoid being ad hominem but I guess nowadays it's impossible. You just posted a piece about bias crafted by someone who is associated with Breitbart.
There's a certain irony to that.
Um
I am the CS.com Sage of Logical Fallacies, Mister.
What you described is not an Ad Hominem attack
You have one opportunity to correct youself

It is. The ad hominem attack I was talking about was discrediting the author's arguments because he is associated with Breitbart.
I know you already know this but, from
https://literarydevices.net/ad-hominem/:
Ad hominem is a Latin word that means “against the man.” As the name suggests, it is a literary term that involves commenting on or against an opponent, to undermine him instead of his arguments.
There are cases in which, whether consciously or unconsciously, people start to question the opponent or his personal associations, rather than evaluating the soundness and validity of the argument that he presents.
That's what I was talking about. I was basically discrediting the author on the basis of him being associated with Breitbart.
Like I said there was a time when I tried to completely avoid doing that sort of thing. But it's gotten really tough in the political realm.
