2017 - 2018 Club Soccer Thread

Going to Tottenham - Machester City in Nashville on Saturday. Looking forward to it.

Lost Kyle Walker to City, and probably won't be spending much to replace him. Would love to get Toljan from Hoffenheim, but... doubtful. :(

Don't have great expectations for the season since we'll be playing at Wembley and don't have a lot of depth.

Still a pretty impressive starting XI from a business perspective.

Is this supposed to be a pre-season game like the NFL often stages in England?

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

No, it's just soccer.
"Elaine, you're from Baltimore, right?"
"Yes, well, Towson actually."

Yeah, it's like a preseason game.

But, the NFL plays regular season games in England (and elsewhere). There were 3 regular season NFL games in England last year and one in Mexico. London has hosted 14 regular season NFL games now. Tottenham has a contract with the NFL to host 2 NFL games per year at their new stadium for the next decade.
