He's incredible when he's running for his life. The two poorly thrown balls to Torrey Smith were from the pocket. Granted, he didn't have any receivers that fast last year either.
He'll get synchronized with Smith
I think you're right too - You can't over throw Smith and that's probably new for Wentz in his entire career

Wentz looked good to my eyes - bought tons of time when needed, made the big plays he needed to win the game. Beat a divisional foe on the road on opening day. I'll take it. And word is that Darby's ankle won't need surgery, so he should be back in maybe 4-6 weeks (much better than missing the rest of the year). Pass rush looked nice, too. It'll look even nicer in two weeks when they get to face that debacle of an OL that the Giants have.

I don't mean it as a knock on Wentz at all. He's shown he has the potential to be a very good or even great NFL QB, but Carr has couple more years under his belt and is already trending towards the upper echelon.

Nope. You already said Wentz is a draft bust. Don't try to back out now.

Look I'm a Raider fan so yeah...
But I'm not sure Carr gives you more to work with then Wentz
He's no Osweiler (Your boy) sure but he has a chance

I do generally pull for athletes from Montana, but Osweiler is no more "my boy" than Ryan Leaf.
We'll shit. Hail Mary falls short. Chiefs win 27-20.
Turnovers killed. Sproles with a fumble in the first half and Wentz with an INT that ricocheted off a Chiefs lineman's helmet. That equaled 10 Chiefs points. Wentz also needs to learn some ball security, as he's dropping way too many when he gets whacked at in the pocket. Credit due for trying to buy time though; he makes so much happen on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th reads.
Passing game looked decent. Running game still needs work. Defense looked OK but got worn down in the fourth quarter. That RB Hunt for KC is a beast to bring down.

1-1
Go beat the Giants next week and all is well.
I think Wentz is great, but if there's something he needs to do better, it's being able to throw a good screen pass. Seems like a small thing, but he never seems to give the guy catching it a decent ball. And the ball that bounced off the helmet for the INT was another screen pass.
Running game needs some work because we don't have a great run blocking OL (why Kelce is still starting at center is a mystery) and because we don't have a RB (we passed on probably the top 10 list of running backs in this draft, including the guy they saw yesterday) and the RB that we did draft starred in "Willow" and was one of the shorter guys in that film. And he's out with a torn hamstring, and possibly for the year.
Doesn't matter how it happens, like Al Davis said, just win baby. Eagles go 2-0 in the division after three weeks - I'll take it no matter how ugly it transpired. That it came at the expense of the now 0-3 Giants - even better.
Darren Sproles broke his arm and tore his ACL on the same play yesterday. Done for the year, maybe career. Hasn't really been the same since the cheap shot by the Redskins last year.

Shame for him - great career, and being so tiny and not getting injured like this before is a testament to his toughness.
Yeah, that cheap shot by Everett last season (blew up Sproles on a head shot as a punt returner before the ball ever got there) was as cheap as you can get.
