Say "like" one more time and I'll....."I kind of kept pushing for it. I was like, 'Mom, dad, I really want to play.' And they were like, 'OK, well, let's go sign you up.' And I was like, 'Let's go,'" she said.

Re: Horney Missed a Girl Story?
I saw the story yesterday on Sunday Morning.
The chick is about 4’11”
in heels.

Sorry. I'm too focused on my pole vaulter who just got into her first game at free safety this past FRI night...AND my Sirens, of course....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Re: Horney Missed a Girl Story?
Wait, the article said she was playing HS varsity, but then they show a picture of her with what looks like the junior high team:

Maybe an old picture from a year or 2 ago?

It's an epidemic! This one if from Gonzaga Prep in Spokane, has better size, and is the first girl to catch a pass in a Greater Spokane League varsity game...

I looked up the HS on wiki- says enrollment of about 750. But only 28 players?
No wonder the chick is able to play as a 130 lb LB..

If you're talking about Brandywine.... yes. Upper middle class white school in the burbs. More likely to have a great math team than football team.BDKJMU wrote:I looked up the HS on wiki- says enrollment of about 750. But only 28 players?

25 of the 28 players in the team photo are black. I see 2 white guys and the chick.89Hen wrote:If you're talking about Brandywine.... yes. Upper middle class white school in the burbs.
