I've read this elsewhere and remember it was reported that Rove could be heard roaming the halls of the White House humming "onward Christian soldiers".

Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them. If there are no gods, then you will be gone, but will have lived a noble life that will live on in the memories of your loved ones.

Thank you for the well reasoned answer. I don't think I gave a good enough original reply to get across what I was trying to say. I was simply trying to say that if the Bible states God said it, a Christian has a duty to believe it. I was speaking more that Daniel was a major prophet of God and therefore, you have to take what he says about the end times as truth.

God also warned you will get tons of people saying things that he didn't "author" and you are not to listen to them.

Still not sure I am on the same page as you, but as stated, appreciate the great response.
