1) Consenting Adults was always the argument - marriage is above all else a legal contract.
2) Under certain conditions, a 15-year old can marry in Maryland, and a 16-year old only needs a parent's permission - and that has been the law for decades

And if it does, and done correctly (to avoid the women/child abuse situations in the FLDS, for example) how would that affect you? I know gay triads/throuples that have been together for 30+ years.
4) Animals, dolls, etc can't consent or enter into legal contracts, so that will never happen.

I think that's a correct premise right now but I would not count on it being a correct premise indefinitely. We have had instances of other primates showing language as well as reasoning skill and it's not at all hard to see a day in the not too distant future where sex dolls are endowed with artificial intelligence (if that hasn't already happened).
Plus, there are obviously a lot of people who at least THINK dogs are sentient beings. I think thinking that is whacked. But there are a lot of people who do think that.
