I hope the entire Patriots team tears an ACL this week during practice. The same team winning shit over and over is boring. The only people that enjoy it are the fans of that team. Everyone else is tired of the shit. I am a Cowboys fan and I hope the Eagles fucking destroy the Patriots, like 200-0.

The AFC needs to get their shit together. When 10 out of the last 11 (or whatever the close number is) Super Bowls had one of three QBs representing the AFC it loses all enjoyment.

The Cowboys...  America’s team.

Living here in Texas, you’d think they still are the greatest team in the NFL, except that the league hates them...

No one thinks they are the greatest team in the NFL. We need a new OC and JJ needs to retire. His son has done a much better job as a GM.

But the Cowboys have nothing to do with it. My point was, I am cheering for a division rival over the Bellicheats. I hope the Patriots have the worst Super Bowl loss any team has ever experienced.

Speak for yourself

Personally I dont watch the NFL very often, but when I do I prefer to watch the best team play legendary football, every snap Brady takes is history in the making. The NFL will never see another QB as dominating as Brady. Even if you load a team with talent like Manning had for a decade you wont see a QB touch what Brady has done. Brady had shit talent to do it with and still dominated for going on 20 years.

Im not a fan but its damn nice to see football played the right way by a team with less talent than many others and still dominate. Solid, fundamental asskickings are a sight to see. Similar to what NDSU is doing in the FCS, its enjoyable to watch

Bettor makes multimillion-dollar wager on Eagles in Las Vegas
The early betting action on Super Bowl LII had been evenly divided between the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles at MGM's sportsbooks in Las Vegas.

It's not anymore.

On Wednesday, a bettor placed a "multimillion-dollar" bet on the underdog Eagles, according to MGM vice president of race and sports Jay Rood...

...He would not say if the bet was a money-line wager or a straight bet on the point spread...

...The Super Bowl line at MGM dropped from New England -5.5 to -4.5 on Wednesday afternoon. The money line on the Eagles also moved Wednesday at MGM, dropping +180 to +170...

I heard about this bet this morning on the radio. All the info that came out was it was an 8-digit (so $10 million plus dollar bet) on the Eagles. The CEO/President of MGM Casino was notified & had to approve the bet before it was allowed & it moved the line & the moneyline. That's a power bet.

My first thought was that it was legendary whale Billy Walters, but his strategy (usually) is to push the line a half point using several frontmen and then place his power bets through fewer frontmen under 24 hours before kickoff. Plus, I think he’s moved most of his ops offshore.

The line will be at 3 points come kick-off
Which is the standard opening spread for "Evenly Matched / Home Team" or "Evenly Matched / Previous Winner"

The game is a PUSH
Nobody has a good feel for what's going to happen
If the Eagles play to their potential they win easily

That makes it a bit of a coin flip...
and there seems to be some financial big dogs that expect the Eagles to take care of business

Well, the big dog got them at -5.5, so if they lose 21-16, big dog ain't care. They covered.

Vegas still thinks the Pats are going to win.

Something about some Brady guy.

The Eagles are the better team - better on the OL, better on the DL, better in most places. Brady is the counterweight to that and the wild card. If the Eagles can do what Miami did (harder to do since Gronk didn't play against Miami, but the Eagles DL is better than Miami's) then they'll be in good shape. Remember, the Pats should've lost the past two Super Bowls they were in - Pete Carroll forgets Lynch is in the backfield and doesn't run it in for the sure-winner TD in that one and then Atlanta craps the bed historically after going up 28-3 in their Super Bowl. The Pats certainly did things, lots of things, in those Bowls to get in place to accept the fubar's from their opponents, but the opponents had to cough it up for the Pats to win. Hopefully Dougie P is up for the challenge of not screwing this up.

I saw one of these with North Dakota rooting for New England, based on betting line. I doubt this is very indicative of the actual fans choice.

I think Philly gets the lead early and the defense doesn't let this one go like Jacksonville, Seattle and Atlanta.
