The thing is, Trump did what he did when there was a draft. I may have done something similar. But it is what it is. I don't think any of those other Presidents tried to come off as Mr. Bad Ass like Trump does. Also remember that Trump has the distinction of ragging on John McCain. I don't think anybody has any questions about McCain's courage during military service. Maybe. But I don't think so.
Trump mouths off big time about pushing buttons or issuing orders where he's safe. But he is indeed a pussy when it comes to actually putting himself on the line.
Duckworth did put herself on the line, so she's got plenty moral authority to tell Trump to STFU.
An Iraq War veteran, Duckworth served as a U.S. Army helicopter pilot and suffered severe combat wounds, losing both of her legs and damaging her right arm. She was the first female double amputee from the war.[3] Having received a medical waiver, she continued to serve as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Illinois Army National Guard along with her husband, Major Bryan W. Bowlsbey, a signal officer and fellow Iraq War veteran, until her retirement from the Army in October 2014.[4]
