What is it to commemorate? The last parade was in 1991 following the Gulf War. Before that it was the for Eisenhower and JFKs inauguration. Before that it was during and after WW2.

That said I went to the Military parade after Desert Storm in DC, and it was awesome! I still have my desert camo Coke can at home. Nothing is more awe inspiring than the Stealth Bomber flying over head. It have done fly overs at Preakness several times. Your hear it and it's already past you, and then it just slips away into the distance.
