You'll notice in another thread he admits he sat on a jury...
In order to get selected you have to be about an 80 IQ
Even average intelligence individuals get booted from jury selection almost immediately

Just saying a person sitting on a jury has an 80 IQ, to me shows dishonesty. I could have easily walked away from jury duty with some BS story. Saw a lot of people BS their way out of the courthouse. Ended up serving with a school teacher, couple IT peeps, truck body painter, golf pro, fast food worker, substance abuse counselor. Good cross-section of Ramsey County, MN. I don't think any were too smart to think they were better than a person with an 80 IQ.

I would think there's a mix of different cognitive levels on any jury.

If you're the "favorite" in a trial and appear to have the better case I'd think you don't want easily-manipulated ding-dongs or people who might have any emotional investment in the trial.

The underdogs probably don't want a sharp jury. So with both sides selecting the jury you'd get a mix, am I wrong?

Took 2 days for us to get from 3 votes not guilty to 12. Phone records and eye witness accounts matched the defendants testimony better. The key witness was in the front seat of the car and said he didn't see the driver get shot in the side of the head, from the back seat, while reaching under the front seat for some weed.

You get tired of sitting in a small room with 12 people, no phones, no outside contact, no TV in the hotel rooms.
