Eric Johnson's experience at January's NFC Championship game in Philadelphia was not as horrible as it was for some Minnesota Vikings fans. But it wasn't exactly a walk in the park, either, and that led the West Fargo resident to complain to the National Football League.
It appears his voice is being heard, along with the voices of many other Vikings fans.
The NFL has spent the past several weeks investigating ugly behavior exhibited by some Eagles fans at the Jan. 21 game and, according to an email sent by the league's chief security officer, "will publicly announce changes that will be implemented going forward."
Looks fine to me in the picture. Was he upset about being that close to an African American? I think if anyone gave him crap it had to be the guy in the NDSU jersey - you know how those Bison fans can be.

Weak. Get out every now and then and you'll see that behavior everywhere. Anybody can film a few events in isolation and blow it up to be something it's not. Every city has it - Cleveland, Boston, NY, Washington, Baltimore, Atlanta, Chicago, Phoenix, LA, etc, have all had fan issues. Like I said, weak.

Yeah, I don't know how many videos I have to post. The only difference in Philly is that the fans actually like being labelled fanatical.

I don't care what city they are from, fans like these are a pox on sports. And the fact that Philly fans seem to take pride in being like this says a lot about them.

Exactly. What is says is "stay in your own fucking city and you won't get butthurt".

I love it.
Good to see other fans realizing how big of whiners the Vikings fans are. I've had to put up with them all my life as a Packers fan. They shut up pretty fast when you ask them to see the Vikings Super Bowl trophy case.
Oh no, NY fans are almost as bad. They're a very close second to Philly fans. And that's all sports. Football hockey baseball you name it
And what standing does a Weber State fan have to get involved in this thread? Those people are as bland as mayonnaise.
A standing of experienced it first hand. When I was younger my family and I went on a north east trip to sight see. One of the sites we decided to take in was an Eagles game vs the Steelers. My dad was wearing his Chargers hat and I was wearing a Bills hat (that i got on the trip as a souvenir) and both me and my dad had vulgar threats hurled at us going into the stadium. A few fans threatened to beat us up. And my mother who isn't even a big football fan got spit on when we were standing in a concession line.
This is an experience I've only experienced in Philadelphia. I have been to several other venues around the country wearing the opposing team stuff and not once did I ever get threatened like I did in Philly. Philly fans are dirty and deserve the title of being worst fan base in the NFL.
Dodgers fans stab Giants fans to death in the parking lot after the game...
I'm pretty sure this isn't a North East thing (as much as the North East sucks... and it does)
Q: Name something that offends Republicans?
A: The actual teachings of Jesus

Nothing really changed since 2012
At least they do a nice job of dusting the trophy case, must be pretty easy with no trophie's cluttering things up.
