Only a complete and utter moron thinks this is good.

Brought to you by John Bolton, whose lies led to the invasion of Iraq, and thousands of American deaths.

Since you and the rest of the Trump fucks think this is such a good thing, get your anti-American, racist ass over there and fight.

Trump is destroying this country. You are just too fucking stupid too understand. But hey, he is undoing everything the nigga did, so you and the rest of your inbred buttbuddies are happy.

1. Within the last two months, our own Secretary of State and Director of National Intelligence said Iran is compliant.

2. Our intelligence services are required to share any evidence of noncompliance within 10 days of uncovering it; they've uncovered no evidence.

3. Every one of our allies except for one person (Netanyahu) affirm that Iran is compliant.

The nuclear deal was indisputably working, but it was an Obama accomplishment, so that's why Trump is against it. That and Trump has surrounded himself with crazy war hawks...Bush era II.

This is going to hurt in the long-run. We've become unreliable and Trump's actions have absolutely removed us from the world stage and as history proves again and again, power abhors a vacuum. Which nation(s) will rise to take our place is hard to say, but the Trump era will be remembered for America's decline.

"America first" doesn't reflect the realities of this century.

And seriously, let's take a moment to appreciate that in an agreement that included Russia, Iran, and the US, it ended up being the US that was the unreliable party. :ohno:

Well, I am a person who thinks that if we are going to be in a treaty it should have to be ratified per the Constitution. I don't know the details of the thing. But I do think it was improperly agreed to.

That said: I don't think Trump has any clue as to what he's talking about. You've got a friggin' real estate developer with the brain of a 10 year old offering opinions on what are and what are not good deals in treaties on nuclear weapons then acting on them. It's a bad situation.

I'm not sure that your "power abhors a vacuum" is consistent with not being the sole world policer.. I don't think you've read your own position pamphlet carefully

Russia and Iran supported the deal for reasons having nothing to do with Iran remaining a non-nuclear state

Germany is in the same boat - they want to do business with Iran, and Angela Merkel's latest convo with Trump was to try to get exceptions for German businesses with the Russian sanctions. That should tell you all you need to know about our "allies'" and their motivations for this "deal" which, when complied with, still leads to Iranian nukes (for numerous reasons, not the least of which is an inspections regime that keeps us away from where Iran is working on nukes and gives them ample warning when and where we are looking)

"There are no allies, only interests."

Russia, France, Germany and even Iran understand this.

Wow. Antisemitism, racism and LGBT slurs all delivered in a bigoted tone.

PS. Do we need to dig up all the old Dem YouTube vids showing their calls to attack Iraq?

That will certainly be the mantra

And Iran was always going to get the bomb short of an invasion to get rid of the mullahs

in a way, the hawks like McCain have always been correct on Iran in a certain sense - there is no agreement we can make with them that will cause them to give up their nuclear aspirations .... they need them to kill Israel and killing Israel is non-negotiable

I'm not for invading Iran, but in that opinion is a necessary acquiescence to a nuclear Iran

Finally, a sane, unemotional post. Bravo.

Iran has always wanted us dead. Why we would ever deal with them softly is puzzling. You sanction them to starvation and then deal from a position of strength. Actually, you don’t deal at all. You impose your will on them. Great work, President Trump. First Korea, now Iran. Get the Nobel speech ready.

We'll see what happens. Korea is outstanding and we'll see how that plays out in the long run. How much of what's going on in Korea now is due to Trump and how much is North Korea getting to a point they wanted to get to along with the South Korean leader is in question. All Trump has accomplished to this point is granting a meeting that the North Koreans have wanted for decades and which no previous US President was willing to grant. Iran has been through extreme sanctions before.

He's right on the first point -

"deals" such as this one are the result of Obama's lauded and applauded pen and phone

Nobody seems to be giving much attention to the fact that this is why we have treaties and a Senate

I'm not confident that Trump would go the treaty route, either (treaties are soooo 20th century) but if you don't want your Presidential legacy erased, it is probably a good idea to write your deals on Senate stationery rather than Post-It notes

Cid nails this one again. The Iran deal was nothing more than a gentlemens agreement since he didn't bother to go through Congress for a real one.

The point isn't about agreeing/disagreeing with the deal. I get if you're against it although personally, I think the demographic makeup of Iran and the political ideology of the youth is the clearest sign that the hard line elements of the Iranian gov't have an expiration date. The name of the game was delay.

The point is America broke the deal while Iran was following it - a deal that included some of our closest allies. Same with the TPP and Paris Climate Accords. At some point, probably soon if not already, America will no longer be trusted if our word will be broken with any new administration.

And all this for what? Hating Obama this much? Or #MAGA #libtears #winning?

Like it or not, the world has the ability to move on without us.

Congress didn't listen to, work with, or approve anything Obama did. It was obstruction at the highest order.

But like it or not, the executive branch has broad international powers. And like Obama, Trump has the ability to exercise those powers which he did today. However, you're only as good as your word; this is why Presidents don't undo what former Presidents have agreed to.

It's a weak move. Remember that the American far-right is a small fraction of humanity; in the grand-scheme of the world's progression, people don't give a shit about what the right thinks and humanity will move on. This only hurts America's leadership in an increasingly globalized world.

Instead of trying to fuck over liberals because #winning, it's time to live in reality.

Go reread CID’s post on the logic behind this and then get back to us. This isn’t about left, right, or center. It’s about Why EUROPEAN countries WANT the deal and why it isn’t good for us. And hint: it’s not about nuclear proliferation.

It's obvious that he doesn't understand what Cid wrote.
