When Spandy pops up it makes me think of that scene in The Matrix where the kid tells Keanu Reeves "there is no spoon..."

Spandos is right.

When I heard that fake gunshot in his video, I immediately became opposed to the 2nd Amendment and turned in all of my firearms this evening to my local police department for destruction. I am going to renounce my NRA life membership tomorrow and join with Michael Bloomberg to help America rid itself of guns and sugary beverages.

My company is having a 2nd Amendment seminar today at the local office. Would be nice to go, but I have to work. They are having a Minnesota District Court Judge, Prof from the U of Minnesota law School and an FBI lawyer.

Anyone else here find it fishy that the only two posters who highlight the word “truth” in their siggys are Spandos and JSO? 8-)

The second amendment is the Constitution's equivalent of your appendix. It had a purpose a long time ago before we decided to roll with a standing Army.
You matter. Unless you multiply yourself by c squared. Then you energy.

I can't see the video but I do like the Second Amendment as it is written. Unfortunately we don't follow it.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

You might wanna put anything regarding the 2A on your “ignore” list. Every time you dip your toe into a discussion about the 2A you get your ass handed to you. It’s as predictable as the sun rising in the east.

Which only proves them more prescient over the 2A, as time goes on

If they want your gun they'll take your gun and there is nothing you can do to prevent it. Its a noble sentiment to want to keep the government in line with the threat of force and a long time ago was probably possible to accomplish - but the word "guns" must create a false equivalency in what passes for the minds of the Cliven Bundy types that dwell here in our fair land. Looks good on paper and certainly the founders were prescient, but It will never work. Because their guns ain't like our guns.

Some major events need to come to pass before the government starts tracking down and taking guns. Won't happen in our lifetimes.
