Yes, klam...

Racism, like unsweetened peanut butter, gnat bites, and passive aggressive employees, exists.

This guy needs to be fired if he can't subdue a 115 lb female after being trained to do so. Surely the academy has other methods to make someone comply without punching them. :ohno:
So a fat dude deserves to get punched in that scenario? How toxic feminist of you! No wait....we're not supposed to apply gender these days, how sexist of you!

So wait. Two women were arrested? With the second talking shit in front of the Police SUV?

And, like 89 said, there is a UUUGE difference between NJ Beach Cops and Regular town police.

Either way, that cop was in the wrong. No need to punch her repeated in the face/head. Fuck that guy.

I don't believe that there is that many NJ people going on vacation in DE. Moving there, yes. But vacationing doesn't make sense from a travel standpoint.

Maybe a brain fart, but you forgot the #1 out of state plate in DE: PA. Always has been, always will be. But yes, Jersey AND NY are both on huge upticks the past 20 years.

As far as Flaggy’s point, once the Jersey assholes move here, they get DE plates, since they’re only $40/year and your car is tagged for five years.

Nope, the Jersey plates we see are sure enough tourists. Giant pods on the roof and bikes tied to the back.

89 the other thing worth mentioning, and we have in prior years here, is that there has always been a natural divide above and below IR inlet that the PA/NJ/NY crowd concentrated on Lewes/Rehoboth/Dewey while the MD/VA/DC crowd concentrated on Bethany/Fenwick/Ocean City. There are exceptions of course, and by exceptions I mean faggots. They all go to RB.

This has all been pretty mixed up though anymore as they buy property. Then, the best roads in are no longer a concern, and Maryland people might go to Lewes and NY people to OC/Berlin/inland Lower Sussex.

BTW, the Severn was a breeze on Memorial Day Friday, BUT there were simply no cars on the road. I left around 6pm Friday evening and only had to slow to 40 mph as I went through the tolls. First stop I made was at an empty drive-thru line at the Kent Island CFA (normally a line). Then I hit G'town. :ohno: More often than not, the traffic around DC and through 404 is non-existent on the way down, now all the backups are because of that damn light at Safety Arrow Road near the G'town Speedway (not kidding) and in Millsboro because of all the new lights there near the Lowes  .

Re Annapolis: There is still volume slowing from Parole to Rowe Blvd, but the chokepoint is gone after Rowe where people were trying to merge in. So, one chokepoint gone, but the result has been increased fender benders at the 50/2 interchanges.

Re Delaware: DelDOT is always three decades late to the fight. We are JUST NOW getting all the Rt 1 overpasses that should have been built in the 80s when the traffic jams started. If you haven’t traveled the state lengthwise in a year, there are massive construction projects going on in Little Heaven, in Frederica, and in Milford (NE Front St and Rt 1) to build new overpass exchanges. This is after they finished the Thompsonville Rd interchange by me about 18 months ago. Then the next thing they want is to build a detour for 113 to the east of Milford, through Lincoln, and connect back to present 113 south of Milford. They haven’t even thought about south of Milford yet. Georgetown and Millsboro should get attention in about 30 years.

Sweet hijack, by the way.

Also, the new overpasses have pretty much eliminated our (Milford area) traffic jams every beach Friday. It all goes right on through and then hits a wall at Five Points (Lewes).

Sundays, however, are worse than ever. We know not to plan to go anywhere on Sundays. Traffic begins stacking northbound at about 10am and doesn’t break until about 6pm. Just a steady stream of PA/NJ/NY cars going 5 mph or less all day. We can’t even use the backroads due to Waze. Everything is gridlock. This all stems from Little Heaven. Once that interchange opens, life will be good for those of us near Rt 1 north of town. Milford is still a big chokepoint for 113N though until they ever build a bypass.

Mesa Chief: Beating of Black Man by Cops in Video 'Looks Like a Mistake'

Mesa Police Chief Ramon Batista released a graphic video on Tuesday showing a violent arrest of a black man by several officers who repeatedly punch the man in the face.

Four of the officers — including one supervisor — are now on administrative leave as the department investigates. The department received worldwide attention after an officer was charged with murder for the shooting death of a suspect in 2016. The officer, Phillip Brailsford, was found not guilty by a jury in December.

Batista made statements to the media that were highly critical of the video and his officers. He told a TV station that he learned about the incident when a member of the public sent him the video, telling him, "Hey, this looks very alarming, and I need you to look at it."

Video at link. Officers LIED, they need to be arrested.

I like the idea, but it's tough. Keep in mind we have a shared house so we have to have laundry, dishes, vacuuming... etc all done before we can leave. We sometimes bring a spare set of sheets, but it would be pretty awful trying to accomplish the rest that early in the AM. And all four of us have jobs, so getting home and then getting to work would be a hassle too.

That video mostly looked like black on black. Of the 4 cops there when it went physical,+ the 2 more when the elevator opened as the guy was being wailed on, I saw one of the black cops throw 2 knees then a half doz good punches. The old white cop threw 3 weak punches. Didn't see the other black cop of the other 3 white cops throw any.

I never got the allure of the OBX. It was fine, but the drive from PA is brutal. And then there's not really a lot to do come night time there. The Jersey beaches are crowded, no one's going to pretend they're not, but it's a short drive and there are plenty of nice towns so you just have to pick the right one(s). I mean, if you're really a beach snob then places like the Caribbean and Hawaii are significantly better than either option.
