No ****. It's not as if they were asked to bake a gay wedding cake or something.

Yeah, I’m sure serving conks violates her religious beliefs. What religion is that? :dunce:

Good for the Owner.

Sarah Sanders response, "We should be able to disagree respectfully," is an argument I've noticed the right makes all the time, to great effect, despite their actual actions.

When I hurt you, it's okay. But you can't hurt me back, because I am polite.

You intellectualize an aggression against opponents, frame the response as uncalled for, irrational, a violation of civility or rights, etc., and use it to justify the original aggression (or further ones):
Sometimes men use “respect” to mean “treat someone like a person,” sometimes men use “respect” to mean “treat someone like an authority.”

And sometimes men used to being treated like an authority say “if you won’t respect me, I won’t respect you.” And they mean “if you won’t treat me like an authority, I won’t treat you like a person.”

Oh...so the business owner’s rights are only secure if they’re based on religion?

What if her religion is “Dontfeedthefascistology”?

Can she play the religion card to do whatever she wants?

If a majority Muslim town in America votes to adopt Sharia Law, you’ll be cool with that, right?

You’re cute when you whip out the dunce emoji. It makes my morning!

Solid points, but I think it’s a fucking stupid thing for owner to do. It just fuels the fire. I welcome anyone into my establishment as long as they respect the rules, laws, staff, and other patrons...

Except the Irish.

"Dontfeedthefascistology" Gee, I've never heard of that established religion..

The baker didn't refuse service (to sell them a cake) He just refuse to personalize it for the gay wedding..

I'm sure Huckabee & company wanted a personalized conk meal. Complete with branded elephants on the steaks & likenesses of Trump & MAGA on the food..

If the owner doesn't want Sander's or a Trump supporter's business that should be her prerogative. The customer can go somewhere else. Same for the gay couple wanting a cake. And those businesses that want to choose not to serve certain people should suffer the consequences of their decision if they lose business because of their decision.

I'm still trying to figure out who played it last time. I think it was the Christian, right? My money is on them again.

Ah yes, they're exactly the same situation. Just like black people didn't have the choice to be black, Sarah Sanders doesn't have a choice she's an asshole.

And she’s absolutely correct. “You’re a heartless nazi racist homophobic sexist mysoginist cunt.” It’s a response I see the left use all the time.

When your “go-to” argument is to resort to name-calling and identity politics, you’ve already lost before the discussion even begins. All it means is you have no valid points, so you go right to the bottom of the barrel.

Definitely. Want to be a dick to people, gaslight the truth, and be complicit in this administration's actions? I'll return the favor 10x over. I hope all Americans rise up and give Trump's lackies a hard time.

Words only go so far and I care way too much about America for shitty people like Sanders.

Like I've said before, history will not be kind to these people.

The previous administration did the exact same things, but you didn't see the Right act this way, nor did you see the Left give one single shit. What you are advocating for will not end well, at all. Taking pot shots at Republican Congresscritters at a baseball game is only the tip of the iceberg for these people.

Be careful what you wish for because your side is woefully under-armed.

You want to know when Trump becomes really dangerous?

It's when you can't get anyone remotely qualified to take the top cabinet posts because of them getting blackballed or harassed or ostracized or threatened just because a bunch of illiterate lunatics that think Nnnnnnazis are running the country.

Obviously the press sec isn't that important and some in the admin are just chair-warmers and toadies but this can get out of hand quickly.

EDIT: And now Maxine Waters is encouraging people to get into the faces of admin members in public. She may be the dumbest person in congress if Hank Johnson isn't there any more.

That's great. Anybody who would associate themselves with Trump SHOULD be ostracized and marginalized. People who would support that atrocity to be President of the United States and even more so WORK for that atrocity should constantly be told in no uncertain terms that their behavior is NOT acceptable.

We'll see what happens. For at least a while they are probably going to get a bunch of people going there just because they did what they did. But that will wane. Either way, the owner did the right thing. Also interesting that she her staff what she should do and they said they wanted Sanders out.

Btw, is the restaurant owner running for a position and/or recieving marching orders from the DNC?
