He claimed that Springer backed Trump. He has adduced no evidence for that. Besides, a lot of Springer’s “contestants” are angry black people who probably don’t support Trump.

You don't do demographics very well. Springer's show skews decidedly female, younger, and downwardly mobile. These are the gender studies millennials who don't marry, are still on their parent's insurance, and still live in their parent's basement.
