The really sad part is that Trip and dback probably agree with her. :dunce:
And she was checked by another enemy of the people.

Sheepishly saying, "I don't think you can say that definitively." is not being checked.
Besides being uninvited from the next cocktail party, Tur knew if she were to challenge Goldberg's stupid comment, she would have been the latest pariah to be dragged across the Twitterverse by the Outrage Mob.

Im back in the US fir a couple weeks and JUDAS PRIEST has the TV news lost its collective mind

holy sh1t it really is all Trump all the time.. I already knew that, but seeing it in person.. damn

One thing I've noticed is that the critics of Trump yanking Brennan's are using "free speech" for their arguments. That is total BS, and nobody has bothered to ask -

What is Brennan restricted from talking about publicly WITHOUT a clearance that he isnt restricted from talking about WITH a clearance?

This free speech narrative is moronic

I might not agree with some of the details but I agree with her comment that he is not the leader of the free world. I am pretty confident that the "free world" outside of the United States does not look at him as the leader. As I've said before he is an absolute embarrassment. Nobody outside of the United States is looking at him at "the leader."

I get that their successors might need info in some instances, but if they kept their names on a list couldn’t they give access in a timely manner?

I can imagine a meeting in Sacramento going something like this...

“Well, we pretty much banned cow farts...and that idea to go after straws is a booming success. What’s next to ban to protect the children?

Well, I saw this item on the web...maybe we should go after contact lenses.”

How contact lenses contribute to plastic pollution
Billions of contact lenses get flushed down the drain every year in the U.S., and researchers from Arizona State University have discovered it takes more than a week for the lenses to even begin to disintegrate, according to research detailed in Scientific American.

Even the article itself minimizes the importance of this. They say 50,000lbs per year, half of which goes to the dirt. But even if you assume all of it goes to the water, that's just 50,000 lbs out of 8 million metric tons in the oceans each year, or something on the order of 0.0003% of that total. Or, to put it in perspective, much less than 6.93%. :coffee:

And you assume the nanny-staters will still not seize on the idea, like straws which contribute a minuscule amount to the overall plastic pollution???

It’s agenda...not facts...AGENDA...

And I wonder how the straw ban will affect these young entrepreneurs?
A group of high school students in Miami invented a straw that detects the most common date-rape drugs. Susana Cappello, Carolina Baigorri, and Victoria Roca just won the Miami Herald‘s Business Plan Challenge with a clever tool that helps people protect themselves against what the teens call “a growing problem.” The so-called Smart Straws turn blue when placed in a drink that contains either ketamine or GHB, two common date-rape drugs; if there’s no color change, the drugs are not present. The straws are a simple way of testing a drink without drawing attention to the fact that you don’t completely trust the beverage or the person delivering it, which could put people in awkward or dangerous situations. The inventors told the Herald that they designed their test as a straw to make it easy to use in social settings, unlike other drink-testing kits. Its sleek, simple design impressed the judges, too, because the straw is easy to distribute and tuck into a purse.

The three young women are hoping to crowdfund in order to manufacture the straw, according to Refinery29, and are looking into patent protection, too. Read the full story over at the Miami Herald and then pour yourself a drink while mulling over the fact that we live in a world where high school girls have to invent such a thing.

It's talked about all the time because the fact that Trump could be elected President of the United States does not speak well of the United States.

And with respect to the "free speech" thing: It's not that what Trump did can stop Brennan from saying what he wants. It's that Trump took an action to retaliate against someone for saying things Trump doesn't like. Do you think there was any basis in terms of national security for revoking the clearance? Do you think that there was a risk of Brennan disclosing classified information or something?

You CLEARLY have a President trying to repress the expression of opinions. Does that not worry you?

What opinions can he not express without a clearance that he can express with one?

Answer that.

Not a free speech issue and the pundits all need to go back to their Con Law classes if they ever took them

I’ve been clear that Trump was wrong to yank Brennan’s clearance, but you and the rest are blinded and flailing. Go snort your O2 mask, calm the fvck down, and use your brain

This could be the stupidest thing you ever posted. Brennan is not being silenced, he is on every network. He has no need to know he is not helping anyone currently there., so again he has no need to know, Clinton took away a lot of clearances, but no one mentions that.

Watch any/all news coverage on the apprehension of the suspect in Molly Tibbetts’ murder and tell me our news system isn’t irretrievably broken. The agendas are so obviously self evident it’s just sad. At FoxNews.com he’s an “illegal alien”...at literally every other major news source he’s an “undocumented immigrant”. What he is now is a murdering POS.

Well well

It turns out that last year, the US saw a .05 percent drop in greenhouse gas emissions

https://www.bp.com/en/global/corporate/ ... nergy.html

That’s a larger reduction than any of the other Paris Accords signatories. In fact, only a handful of those countries made just 50% of their target reductions

Which begs the question (and supports what I said about Paris before)-

Why would we want to remain in an agreement that shoulders us with stifling rules and regs when we are already meeting reduction goals anyway? And while our co-signatories (mostly EU) are not carrying their share?

Also, in the “well, Duh” category... India and China are still the biggest polluters and increased emissions last year yet again

BTW - google “BP Energy Review” before attacking the source or I’ll have to embarrass you (you know who you are)

Like most, there are good and bad guys, and a wide range of assessments The Bush Admin just presented those that fit their narrative, and surpressed those that disagreed with them.

If a Democratic President attacked the FBI, CIA, etc like Trump does on a daily basis, he'd be impeached already. But the GOP is so deep in Trumpshit they are too chicken, or too compromised to stand up to him.
You know Mueller was one of those guys right?

Obomba went with Brennan to head the CIA, great pick that was.
