I am sick and tired of hearing about how everyone is offended and a delicate little snowflake. Fuck these companies and people. Fuck them right in their asses.

Hey Kalm. So a golf tournament is going to be taking over your course for 4 days, do you think it would be fine if they decided to cancel their visit because of something your father supposedly said 10 years before you were even born?

Next thing you know is someone is going to pull sponsorship because an ancestor owned slaves or fought for the south..The dumbest thing, because I bet NO ONE would have complained about their sponsorship because of what Daly's father said before Daly was born. This is going to backfire on Lilly. Their stupidity is already blowing up in the news- UK papers are also reporting it.

Conor Daly loses Lilly Diabetes sponsorship over remark his father made over 30 years ago
ELKHART LAKE, Wis. (AP) — Lilly Diabetes has pulled its sponsorship of Conor Daly’s No. 6 car in the NASCAR Xfinity race at Road America, citing a racially insensitive remark made by the driver’s father in the 1980s that surfaced this week.

Lilly said in a statement Friday that its sponsorship was intended to raise awareness for treatment options and resources for people living with diabetes.

“Unfortunately, the comments that surfaced this week by Derek Daly distract from this focus, so we have made the decision that Lilly Diabetes will no longer run the No. 6 at Road America this weekend,” Lilly said.

that's fucking stupid. Almost as bad as the GOP ads in California against a Democratic candidate about something his GRANDFATHER did 20 years before the candidate was BORN!

Corrupt GOP Duncan Hunter is running against Ammar Campa-Najjar, an American of Palestinian and Mexican heritage, raised Catholic by his mom.

One of his grandfathers was one of the Munich terrorists, who died 16 years before Ammar was born. His family had disavowed the grandfather immediately. But that doesn't stop Attack Ads trying to link Ammar to terrorism, using his grandfather in the ads.

Got it. Kinda like the Donks linking the Conks to Nazis, and there haven't been actual Nazis in 70+ years.

Also KKK, since the KKK is virtually nonexistent nowadays.

Media in 2008: McCain is dangerous. He's not a maverick, he's far right. He'll get a pass because of military worship.

Media in 2018: John McCain was a maverick and a patriot and an American hero. Cuz phuk Trump, that's why.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department told WRDB that officials responded just after 11 p.m. to a crash in Cortland, located about 60 miles north of Louisville.

Cara Selby, 37, was driving nine children, ages 12-16, to a slumber party around 11 p.m. when her Chevrolet Suburban broke down about a block from the home on state Route 258.

The group of children got out to push the SUV the rest of the way when they were hit behind by another vehicle driven by 24-year-old Elizabeth Watson, police said.

Nevaeh Law and Jenna Helton, both 14, and Brittany Watson, 15, died at the scene, while 16-year-old Martin Martinez died on arrival to Methodist Hospital. Four other juveniles were struck and injured.
Horrible story, but any of you guys with kids, PLEASE for God's sake, tell them if they break down, they need to get WAY OFF the road ASAP. Halloween eve three years ago a classmate of 89Jr died the same way on the DC beltway. :(

his brother was pushing his car off to the side of the road and bang* dead

20 years ago and he's still not over it

Take it from a former cop who has worked these accidents-

McCain is one of the few things in politics that has actually been consistent over the years. A lot of people on the right had a problem with him back then. This Newsweek is from 2008. The subtitle says "why the right hates McCain".
