2018-2019 NHL Season
Regular season started yesterday. Caps started with their defense of the Cup in dominating fashion by embarrassing the Bruins 7-0 including 2 goals in the first 1:47 of the game.

Was phenomenal. Place was packed, barely an empty seat and VERY few Bruins fans. I honestly only saw 15-20 Bruins jerseys all night.

They certainly didn't show up on the ice...

Wait, they raised the banner for their first Stanley Cup and they didn't sell the place out?

According to ESPN, attendance was 18,506 and capacity is 18,398 so they sold out. Always a few people who don't show (or are in the bathroom when people look at seats)

Go Mighty Ducks!

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Gannon fishing, but with stinky bait. The Caps surpassed the 400 straight sellout mark last year and it will top 500 in just over two more years. He's just upset because the Flyers are no longer at 100%+ capacity.

I haven't been to a Flyers game in years, and even with seats open I probably still won't go. Hockey is far down the list in terms of pecking order of sports, so it's no bother to me if the Flyers fill the building or not. Sixers start in a few weeks, the Eagles are just in Week 5, and the MLB playoffs just started.

Avs start the season with a 4-1 drubbing of their "new rival" Minnesota. Outscored them 16-3 in their last 3 regular season meetings.

The NBA is trash, and the NFL is quickly headed in the same direction.

I was never a big Boosh booster in his prime.

Avs finish off a 7/8 point least coast road trip with a 4-1 pounding of the BSB.

West looks strong... like every year until they run into a beast from the Metro in the Cup.

The Metro is the Big Sky of the NHL.

With one major difference.

The winner of the Pens/Caps playoff series has won the last three Cups.
