The guy basically conceded that Trump is thoroughly dishonest by saying he lies all the time. But he was doing OK on the angle he was trying to take until he went to trying to give Trump credit for the low Black unemployment rate.

And BTW: I'd take what Trump said during the campaign as meaning he was not going to ask US taxpayers to pay for his wall. Now he's threatening to shut down the government if he can't get legislation to make US taxpayers pay for his wall.

He also said he'd reduce the deficit and eliminate the national debt in eight years. The deficit is increasing. Any bets on whether we have a national debt after eight years of a Trump Presidency (though hopefully the eight years part won't happen)?

The author listed promises Trump arguably kept without mentioning promises he didn't keep.

The idea that he is the most honest President ever in ANY sense is absurd. He's clearly the most dishonest.

That’s a movie she’s going to have to come to me as an adult about

These international schools aren’t as bad as the really liberal college campuses back home, but they’re close.. and Multiculturalism is the new fundie religion and there is no context in which Blazing Saddles can be seen as comedy

Interesting to note:
In the 1970's Blazing Saddles was seen as a revolutionary pro-black comedy
and honestly I don't know how it could be construed otherwise

Can you even buy the original unexpurgated version of Blazing Saddles in a store anymore? Or have they bleeped out all the N-Words? I remember seeing it on the wide screen in college. I haven’t laughed so hard at a movie before or since.

So what I want to know is this the new "normal"? Just want to make sure what the rules are when a Democrat gets in power. I don't think that Trump should get a mulligan and special rights just because he is a wealthy celebrity.

I was probably 9 or 10 when I first saw Blazing Saddles (and 35 when I last saw it. It was last week. On Netflix.

)

My parent's didn't seem to care that I would watch it with them..when it came on cable. You couldn't show that movie of TCM (at least not unedited).
