I was thinking that too, except that Gruden didn't seem to mind at all - as if this was all part of the grand tank-and-rebuild-in-Vegas plan started when they unloaded Mack...

Yup. Chucky has a 10-year deal. They have 3 first round picks next year.

Would you play for a HC that got rid of the best defensive player on your team with your top WR and attacked your QB!!!!!!

Trust the process.
They'll be fighting for second place in their division in three or four years if all goes as planned.
Eh, they'll do fine in Vegas. Get the press of the first overall pick, they'll have the stadium packed in Vegas, and in the NFL everything turns over in a couple of years anyways, unless you're Cleveland or the Jets and then you always suck.

I'm sorry. I should have explained, that was a Sixers joke.
The Raiders process may actually build a championship team, or at least one that can win its conference. That's if they don't fultz up their picks.

Oh, I knew it was a Sixers joke, I just selected to ignore it. Sixers are far more watchable now than they were in the post AI-era when they were struggling to be the 8th seed every year. Even with the Fultz debacle. Should've never buckled to the NBA and fired Hinkie - he wouldn't have bungled that Fultz trade like the golden boy with the burner accounts did.
