We already saw that when Obama became President.

And then they decided to really rape and pillage America.
And then the tables turned when Clinton lost the election. Talk about snowflakes....

I have no clue what you're trying to say.

I was talking about democrats/liberals having a melt down when their person didn't win.

Local election officials count the votes there Copernicus.

Just like in almost every other state, the Secretary of State is a statewide elected position. They certify the results for their own election every four years. Always have, even the Democrat ones.

Something interesting in the latest Marist poll. I hope it's real. Here's what it is:

It looks like Independents who don't like the Republicans might be more likely to vote. The question involved is, "If November's election for Congress were held today, which party's candidate are you more likely to vote for in your district?"

Among all Independent Registered Voters, 45% said they'd vote Democrat vs. 39% who said theyd vote Republican. A 6 percentage point edge for Democrats.

Among all Independent Likely voters, 50% said they'd vote Democrat vs. 36% who said they'd vote Republican. A 14 percentage point edge for Democrats.

Sampling error and all that is involved. But that's still interesting. I hope it proves out.

Yep, like I said, it looks like a Rep increase in the Senate and a Dem increase in the House. No surprise, other than the incumbent party actually gaining in one of the Chambers during a first term midterm. That'd be a bit of an unexpected victory for Trump.
I'm glad that you agree with me that next Tuesday's vote is a referendum on Donald J. Trump. I'm not calling it one way or another.....been there, done that. :thumb:
It will be a referendum to some degree in the president, but I feel that to some extent part of the protective votes for the red party will be a reflective action against the extremely sexist and incredibly unreasonable woman's political movement.

Sec. of State's office: Investigation underway into failed hack by Democratic Party of GA
ATLANTA - The Georgia Secretary of State’s Office says they are investigating a failed attempt to hack the state’s voter registration system by the Democratic Party of Georgia, the office said in a news release.

The state has not said what evidence they have that a hack occurred.

"While we cannot comment on the specifics of an ongoing investigation, I can confirm that the Democratic Party of Georgia is under investigation for possible cyber crimes," said Secretary of State office Press Secretary Candice Broce. "We can also confirm that no personal data was breached and our system remains secure."

Another set of poll results that engender at least some hope. It's from the latest ABC News Washington Post Poll at https://www.langerresearch.com/wp-conte ... dterms.pdf.

There's a table that shows more engagement overall as compared to this point in 2014. 80% say they are certain to vote or already voted this time vs. 65% in 2014. Whites also show an increase. It's from 75% in 2014 to 82% now.

Non Whites still aren't as engaged as Whites at 75%. But their increase in engagement is greater as they were only at 49% in 2014.

Also encouraging is the change among the youngest age group (18 - 39). It's at 69% now vs. 44% in 2014. The increase among Liberals, from 56% to 80%, in larger than the 76% to 82% increase among Conservatives. And the increase among those who lean Democrat, from 62% to 82%, is greater than the 71% to 80% increase among those who lean Republican.

So it looks like while, engagement is higher now than it was in 2014, the increases among groups that tend to favor Democrats have been greater.

The fact is DHS attempted to breach the server. The bullshit about verifying PDSA licenses is just that, bullshit. The professional license database is on an entirely different server than election data.

The SoS offices have been under a microscope for the last 18 months. I can promise you if they came out with a press release, the Donks have been caught red handed.

Of course they did...duh.

I don't get it either. After all, the SoS is a statewide publicly elected position. He or she only certify the votes of their own election every 4 years.

Cathy Cox was the Donk SoS and ran for Governor in 2006. It didn't seem to be a problem then. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

DID BETO BLOW IT/?

The analysis of Beto O’Rourke is underway...

https://www.politico.com/magazine/story ... ion-222188

A few of the better quotes...
By offering a cause rather than a candidacy, O’Rourke convinced America that a Texas Democrat could win statewide for the first time since 1994. A staggering $70 million flooded into his campaign. Celebrities came calling on a first-name basis. LeBron James made the black-and-white “Beto” signage famous. National reporters took turns deifying the skateboarding, punk-rocking congressman. And all the while, O’Rourke was flatlining. When Quinnipiac polled the race in April, after he clinched the Democratic nomination, he registered at 44 percent; in July, the same poll pegged him at 43 percent; it was 45 percent in September; and 46 percent in late October. Whenever the race has tightened, it’s due to Cruz dropping below 50 percent. In dozens of public and private surveys this cycle, O’Rourke has never broken 47 percent.
“Despite all of Cruz’s problems—and there are plenty—here’s a guy who’s running around talking about Medicare for all, and impeaching Trump, and abolishing ICE. And it’s killing him,” Karl Rove, the former senior adviser to George W. Bush, told me in Austin this summer. “Even for people who dislike Cruz, impeaching Trump strikes many of them as terrible for the country. I’ve got friends and family members who may not vote for Cruz. They don’t like Cruz. But Beto isn’t contesting them. I mean, it’s just weird.”
David Axelrod, the former senior adviser to President Barack Obama and Rove’s counterpart as the Democratic Party’s strategic elder statesman, said O’Rourke “has staked out some positions that are difficult positions for some of these voters in the middle to embrace,” adding, “I think one of the strengths of O’Rourke’s candidacy is that he hasn’t shaded his positions. But I acknowledge that may be a problem for some of these independent and moderate Republican voters and conservative Democrats.”
Turning out base voters is job No. 1 for any campaign. But rallying Democrats against Cruz was never the difficult part of defeating him. In 2012, Cruz’s general election opponent, Paul Sadler, captured 41 percent of the vote despite having no name recognition and raising roughly $700,000 for the entire election. O’Rourke raised 54 times that amount in the third quarter alone. Yet if the polling holds up, O’Rourke stands to improve on Sadler’s showing by just 3 or 4 points.
