In all seriousness, though, who's really upset with this? Sessions was likely one of Trump's worst appointees. I never cared for Sessions as a Senator, let alone the top prosecutor in the land. Hopefully this works out as a way to correct that original mistake. Now, if Trump's doing this to cover-up something, well, for one, it's one of the worst ways to do that and two, it won't work. But that's more conspiracy theory right now. I'm just glad a poor AG is leaving.

That's exactly what y'all said about Comey's firing. That blew up in their faces when Rosenstein appointed Mueller... But, that was still the goal.


I think the smarter play is to drain Mueller's resources rather than fire him... And, that's what I suspect they do.

It is hard to watch it now with the severe bias. It's almost cringeworthy at times. But I guess if their competition goes down the road of bias then so do they. Their ratings have been good so it's clearly been a good decision short term.
