But I thought the Saints play calling was tame. The heroes for the Cowboys was the interior line (as Aikman correctly pointed out), but the Saints did nothing to neutralize them. 2nd and 8, run up the middle for 1 yard. 4th and goal from the 3, run up the middle for one yard. WTF?

I don't think it's inappropriate to give full credit to the Cowboys defense here

as much as it looks like "tame play calling" the Saints average 6 yards a carry up the middle
and lead the league in YAC on check downs and running back passes

They were calling the same plays that gashed everybody else
