So if the Panthers lose one of their last three games (NO, ATL, @NO), the Vikings lose to the Bears, and the Eagles win their last two (HOU, @WAS), the Eagles would be in the playoffs.

That is hilarious, with how badly this season has gone.

It's a shame the Eagles would likely have to go to Chicago. I'd love one more crack at Dallas with a different officiating crew than the last game.

Somewhat comes down to who the Bears want to play. I could see them rather playing the Vikes than a hot Eagles team. Eagles blew it by not putting the cowboys away last week. I know the refs were an issue but you have to win that game. Great win last night, it was fun watching the Birds look great again. But even with Nick, it's probably two more games and then the offseason.

Currently, sure, but you're comparing the Eagles with an injured Carson Wentz versus the Eagles with a healthy Nick Foles. Plus the Eagles have that underdog feeling again, they apparently thrive on that. But remember, the Eagles with a healthy Carson Wentz were the best team in the NFL before he got hurt and he was the NFL MVP before he got hurt. Get him healthy and we'll reassess.

I don't think the Skins have a realistic shot at the playoffs, but the Eagles must beat them in Week 17 as well as the Texans this week (that's a scary game, against a 2 seed fighting for a bye, just a game ahead of the 3 seed Patriots). Then, assuming the Vikings beat the Lions this week, the Bears must beat the Vikings for the Eagles to get the 6th seed. The good thing is that game is 1pm and the Rams (who the Bears are just a game behind now) don't play until 4:25, so the Bears will have something to play for, namely a bye.

I am going ahead and writing off Carolina. They're not going to beat the Saints twice in three weeks. By the way, wtf NFL schedulers? How do you have division rivals playing in Week 15 and 17?

Skins don't have Foles (huge difference there), Skins are playing on the road (Eagles are at home), the Titans are more desperate than the Texans (Titans are fighting for playoff inclusion, Texans for playoff seeding, assuming they hold onto the division), and the Texans are on their second straight week on the road on the East Coast. Vegas already has the Eagles/Texans game as a pick 'em and the 'Skins are 10 point underdogs. Vegas thinks it's 10 points less reasonable.

The Eagles really did do themselves a favor beating the Rams though, because now the Bears have hope that they can win out and get a bye if the Rams lose one more, and the Bears play before the Rams in Week 17. Bears would own the tiebreaker (head to head win over Rams).

So it's pretty safe to say the Bears will be bringing it versus Minnesota.

Uh, no.

When Wentz is healthy, he goes back in. He's the better QB. God bless Foles, and the fact that others step up when he's in there and Doug tends to stick to the gameplan more, but Wentz is the better QB. Hopefully, going through this TWICE now, Doug will learn that he can't throw the whole game on Carson's back.
