But why are so many Republicans fascinated with ONE lie said 365 days ago

who lies about policy that effects everybody
Lies about Taxation that effect everybody
Lies about budget that effect everybody

Id like to point out how the timing of these allegations has Dem establishment and hit piece written all over it but the Intercept is usually reliable.

Guess we know who trips candidate of choice is. Beto (The Fake Mexican) O’Rourke has got trip locked UP!

Side note: to watch HuffPo, CNN and other leftist rags rip into him is fucking priceless. Been saying it since day 1: he’s an empty suit (which suits donk voters perfectly).

Caramel Harris is in. Now there’s a big surprise.

Maybe a Jello wrestling match with Gillibrand? :?

I'm not adverse to Harris. She's one of the first Dem candidates announced that I could vote for. Granted, her idea that she's floated about renter's assistance (basically giving money to people who rent their home if they live in a locale where their rent is something like 1/3 of their income - so high property value locations) seems to be a carbon-copy of the student loan assistance idea that basically let colleges jack up tuition rates to reap the benefit of government largesse (so in this case the beneficiaries will be wealthy property oweners). I'm hoping it's like most political ideas and it never comes to fruition as it's bound to fail.

It will be interesting, though, how she pivots in the primaries. Normally her background as a prosecutor would be a good selling point as a law and order type candidate. However, some on the left could see all those years as being part of the system they don't like now. Her idea about bail reform (not her's technically, it's been in the works for years) is a good one in that pivot regard.

I am coming to believe that it's almost not going to matter who they have running because Trump is such an atrocity. See the shutdown thread where a Public Policy Polling poll has respondents favoring every Democrat they ask about, including Schumer and Peloisi, over Trump in a hypothetical 2020 Presidential election matchup. I think the country may very well be in "Anybody but Trump" mode right now.

Speaking of the Indians they favored Harris over Trump by 48% to 41% and favored Warren over Trump by 48% to 42%.

Yes, I know it's about the Electoral College. But Trump is not a strong candidate. Just about anybody the Democrats nominate will have a reasonable chance to beat him. And if they nominate a reasonably strong candidate he is toast.

Jeezis, as dysfunctional as the Republican Party is right now, the Dems are no better.

The progressives are giving Kamala Harris heartburn for being too tough on crime as AG and DA in California.

Oh, here's a link to the poll I referenced:

https://www.publicpolicypolling.com/wp- ... _12219.pdf

A quote form the narrative:
“It really doesn’t matter which Democratic hopeful you test against him right now,” said Dean Debnam, President of Public Policy Polling. “Voters prefer any of them over Trump at halftime of his Presidency.”

We'll see what happens. I think her biggest problem is getting the nomination. I think if she gets the nomination she'll beat Trump soundly. Most of the country wants Trump out. And she is an adult. If she gets the nomination she's going to be an ethnic minority woman running under circumstances whereby the overwhelming majority of women and the overwhelming majority of ethnic minorities do not approve of Trump. And she's very sharp and articulate. On substance Trump would be no match for her. Yes I realize that doesn't matter to Trump's base. But Trump's base is a minority of the population.

All that matters in 2020 is how these states vote: FL, PA, MI, WI. Trump won them by 1.2%, 0.7%, 0.2%, and 0.7% respectively. Those states flipping, alone, would make the 2020 electoral college go 302-229 for the Democrats. States like OH, NC, or GA flipping could make it a complete landslide.

And if this happens, well, that would be awesome!

I see you basically copied and pasted one of your posts from 2016 saying Trump has no chance, lol.

Sure the donks would win if they came out with a moderate platform. But you’re forgetting that the donks are going to go full retard trying to out left one another to win the nomination:
-Anti capitalism, pro socialism, pro globalism.
-Doubling income taxes.
-Increasing every tax/fee the fed govt levies.
-Single payer medicare for all.
-“Free” pre school for all.
-4 years “free” college tuition for all.
-Massive carbon taxes.
-Eliminating fossil fuels.
-Eliminating ICE.
-Mass amnesty for 11-20 million illegals.
-Open borders.
-$15 hour federal minimum wage (including for teens working their 1st low/no skill job & living at home with mommy & daddy).
-Massive increase in the welfare state.
-Guaranteed income.
-Repealing the 2nd Amendment.
-Implementing so called “assault weapons” ban.
-National gun registration database.
-Federally taxing ammo.
-Getting soft on crime.
-Eliminating the death penalty.
-Abortion on demand.
-Eliminating the Electoral College.
-Attacking/demonizing straight white males.
-Incessant Trump bashing.
-Impeaching Trump.
-2020 version of “Deplorables”.

And whatever other nutty lefty ideas I left off. And that platform likely won’t win a general election vs Trump.
Proud deplorable Ultra MAGA fascist NAZI trash clinging to my guns and religion (and whatever else I’ve been labeled by Obama/Clinton/Biden/Harris).
