No it's not just a matter of seeing what I want to see. It looks to me like people are arguing that the fact that the Black Hebrew Israelites or whatever they call themselves guys messing with just about everybody that came by including the students somehow changes things. It does not.

What I was looking for when I watched the video was an answer to the basic question of whether or not the students were mocking the old Native American guy. And they clearly were. And that guy in the MAGA hat was clearly messing with him. Nothing the Black Hebrew Israelites or whatever they were did changes that.

You may not think this is key but I do: There is even a point in the video, which was shot by the Black Hebrew whatever they were nuts, when one of the Black Hebrew guys commented that the students were mocking the old guy. Now, I'm pretty sure he wasn't sitting there thinking "we are going to claim later that they were mocking him so I'm going to say that right now while I'm shooting the video."

Provide a link to what you are talking about and I will comment on it. That's IF I can see it. For some reason over the past few days I can read Washington Post stuff without being asked to pay for it.

Remember, though, that I haven't seen what the Washington Post said about the incident to start with because I would've had to pay for it. What I'm talking about is the general impression created by the "mainstream media" at large.

I saw initial reports. I saw short videos. I saw the long video submitted as evidence that the mainstream media were not accurate. And I didn't see anything showing that the mainstream media were not accurate. I saw more detail on what was going on between the Black guys and the kids. I saw that the Black guys were harrassing all kinds of people including the kids. But I did not see anything to indicate that the descriptions of the interaction between the old Native American guy and the kids were not accurate.
