I guess my response wasn't about you pulling a prank, more about what was we got away with back then. Most people I knew had guns in their vehicles at all times. My go to move in high school was to cut the tabs off those plastic credit card keys then epoxy them into door locks on their vehicle. Several teachers got it more than once because they were indoctrinating instead of teaching
