Responded before I finished. At some point Pelosi will try and throw AOC under the bus and AOC will go after her like a jackel.UNI88 wrote:I don't agree with AOC but she is forcing discussions on topics that the entrenched political leaders would prefer to avoid.
Pelosi is using her for now but there will come a time when she turns

While true. I don't think AOC and her tits will make it to a second term. Whether do to a (R), unlikely, or a primary backed by any number of (D)'s who doesn't like her usurping shit.UNI88 wrote:Responded before I finished. I'd make the bet that she doesn't only make a 2nd term, but at least a 3rd (and probably more). AOC only has to remain popular in the district she represents, but she's still a darling in the Democratic Party.andy7171 wrote:While true. Even with Pelosi's surge in ratings after she bitch-slapped Trump, AOC still has higher approval numbers among Dems. And AOC has the support of prominent members are who way more respected than Pelosi.
Any active attempt by Pelosi to primary AOC would be the end of Pelosi.
(Pelosi is smart enough to know this.)

2- NY'ers are slowly waking up to the fact she lost 25,000 jobs due to idiocy.

I was more entertained by her belief that NY could use the tax breaks they weren't giving Amazon to hire teachers and invest in other ways.Chizzang wrote:Jobs that don't pay enough to actually live in NYCandy7171 wrote: 1- She got 16,000 votes and is now the defacto leader of the millenials

I suppose if two equally good Christian kids are offered an opioid and one takes it (because stupidity) and the other doesn't (because fear), was "divine guidance" involved for the latter? How about if that one stupid decision leads to a life of addiction, arrests, and death? Why didn't God guide that teen?

You’re right. They need another Dollar Store that pays $7/hour.Chizzang wrote:CitadelGrad wrote:

the liberals chased the Boeing production jobs away from Seattle
and all the conservatives bemoaned the loss
Those jobs belonged in South Carolina
and the Amazon jobs belong somewhere else also - NYC doesn't need more $60K jobs
where people have to commute 2 hours to live

These things all work themselves out... (Besides AOC BAD)
