It's not that NYC doesn't need more $60K jobs it's that other cities would benefit a whole lot more from those jobs and the people working them would have significantly more disposable income in those other cities than they would in NYC.

Is there the talent pool or infrastructure available for Amazon's needs, and what makes those cities and states attractive to move to? Companies can't simply rely on pay to get people to move anymore.

Places like Denver, Boulder, Austin, and Pittsburgh have become attractive due to their deliberate investments in infrastructure, education, technology, etc. What are Omaha and St. Louis doing?

Couple that with the fact that statewide she polls about the same as Donald Trump and I’d say there’s an even chance she doesn’t even get the opportunity to lose her next election
