I don't. Its all I can think of to explain the uber-patriot Republicans and NRA types sudden love for Russian dick. As we saw with the last administration, race is very important to that crowd.

But thats just the guess of an outsider looking in from a long ways away - what is your opinion about the sudden love for Russia, complete with secret meetings in the Oval Office with no other Americans present and the groveling, servile behavior at Helsinki?
This is the Democratic Nomination thread. :o

Spend 5 minutes anywhere near a group of Chinese tourists and you won’t ask that questions

I dunno, Bernie is a pretty lively old bird and I warned you all about underestimating him before the '16 primary. I think the generational shift in the donk party is being underestimated too. The establishment has the muscle to suppress it as they did last time but it really hurts them long-term and helps solidify the complaint that there isn't a dime's worth of difference between the corporate wing of the Democrats and the garden-variety imbeciles of the Republican mainstream. :coffee:

Yep, whenever I encounter groups of them, in the US, western Europe (last year Australia & New Zealand) they’re not solo, couples, or in small single digit group that you usually see other tourists in. Its usually in groups of 50-100 trailing 1-2 guides with flags. Pushy, chatterbox, with little concept of personell space. And gosh forbid if you get to a hotel breakfast buffet as the same time as them. Like frickin locusts. Uncouth. Uncivilized. One example- at the Louvre, there's a sign for that warns people not to defecate and urinate on the premises. Its only in one language- Chinese..

If you’re a Trump supporter, aside from flinging poo and blaming liberals, you should be hoping he faces one of the establishment Dems rather than Bernie.

He whacks either one. Bernie would be easier as his craziness is renowned, whereas Biden’s is more subtle.

Joe is old news. Bernie will bring the turnout and that's seldom good for conks.

Still think they'll buy off Bernie with Medicare for all.

Bernie has no chance at winning the general. Joe does. You’re hopelessly stupid..or sucking Bernie off.

Or, Tod and Eagleskins are also posting on his account

that’s a long-held suspicion of mine... all three of them are basically clones

Naw you've got it all wrong. An establishment type (Biden or maybe the gay dude since he has yet to make a platform stance on anything) could potentially sway a lot of the "independent" voters. Everyone else that is competing in he leftard olympics is going to have a hell of a time explaining their nonsense come general election time...

...and therein lies the entertainment of the DNC primary.

He's been sucking that commie off since the '16 DNC primary...

...oh and someone should tell him that Bernie's demographic doesn't have a great track record of turning out on election day.

I don't know why people keep saying that. Bernie has usually polled as beating Trump in the popular vote. And when he hasn't it's usually been the Rasmussen poll. Yes, we use the electoral college. But most of the time the candidate that wins the popular vote also wins the electoral college.

I just don't get this thing where people say Sanders would have "no chance" to win a general election against Trump when, historically, he's had the edge over Trump in probably more than 95% of the polls that have been taken on the matchup.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

It is the same anomaly that makes klam say we are a center left country

People poll much more favorably towards feel good pie in the sky things - but when faced with actually voting for a guy who will increase their taxes threefold and take away their health insurance they will balk

Bernie has a very poor pathway to an electoral victory - red states he can forget about, and he will turn more than a few purple states fully red

Polls? Seriously JSO? Have you learned anything from 2016?

Polls are great to discuss but they mean NOTHING in terms of winning elections.
