I'd agree with that - be the only adult in the room and Trump becomes less effective. Granted, it still needs to be a platform that can win nationwide, and I'm not sure a platform like Warren's (free everything) is a platform to do it, but it would work better than what Hillary did last time. Of course, she had her skeletons to contend with that undercut her campaign, but she spent a lot of time trying to look like she could be tough facing up to Trump, which just turns the conversation to Trump, which is what he wants.
