I kind of do too. She’s very self confident in interviews and as a speaker. She might also be tougher for Trump to attack carrying less baggage than some of the others.

Like I said in the bikini thread, I'd knock the bottom out of it for hours, but there's not a single policy position that we're even close on. Not one.

So you're saying it's like being at an SEC football game or NASCAR event?

She is the only Donk talking about issues other than Trump.
That’s true-

And it is significant too

John Kerry lost to GWB because he ran on one premise only: that he wasn’t GWB

There is merit to ignoring the incumbent and presenting your own platform... in Kerry’s case it would have had a marginal effect

But in 2020 it could really be the key to beating Trump.... by not acknowledging him

I'd agree with that - be the only adult in the room and Trump becomes less effective. Granted, it still needs to be a platform that can win nationwide, and I'm not sure a platform like Warren's (free everything) is a platform to do it, but it would work better than what Hillary did last time. Of course, she had her skeletons to contend with that undercut her campaign, but she spent a lot of time trying to look like she could be tough facing up to Trump, which just turns the conversation to Trump, which is what he wants. Make the election less about Trump and you avoid him sucking all of the air out of the room.

The last update late March the Wiki link said 203 had filed. Now it says “Beside the 19 major candidates listed above (Biden and Moulton have not yet filed), more than 200 other candidates have filed with the Federal Election Commission to run for president in the Democratic Party primary.[58] Among the other candidates, notable ones (as defined by Wikipedia standards) include:....” (They list 4 more).
-They list the 1 withdrawn candidate, the retired Army Sgt Major state senator from WV.
-List 5 notables who have publicly expressed interest
-List about 40 notables that have publicly declined interest.

A little disappointed in how conservative the field is, especially with Sanders being the most "liberal."

Yang is the most intelligent, so he'll have my vote, but he's not that progressive either.

Funny you should mention the Louvre. Mrs. Ivy and I were almost trampled by a horde of camera-laden Japanese who were RUNNING to the Mona Lisa. The Red Chinese were around, too, but the Japanese were quicker. :|

Just about every place i've gone, Rome, Naples, Paris, Trier, Munich, there are Chinese/Korean tourists and they act awfully.
Interesting. When we were in Boston, a Chinese lady bashed her way to the Seal display, and in the process pretty much pushed my daughter out of her spot. I chalked it up to Grace kneeling and the lady trying to take some video. But when she barreled her way back through, I said, "pardon me lady" in a tone that let her know she was being an asshole. When she looked at me, I just gave the the "you know better than that shit" look. Made sure to look non-threatening, but let her know that wasn't cool.

Maybe I was just cranky. On the flight home a guy tried to cut down the aisle of the plane before it was his turn and I put my arm out and said, "don't be cutting in front of us, you know better than that".

I've sat at a PGA event and been run over by 10-15,000 Tiger Woods fans. This was back when he lost the PGA to YE Yang. I'm sitting up against the ropes and these Tiger slobs, tongues hanging out and all, are in my face, on my back, and I had to make sure my belt was fastened, or they would have been up my frickin ass.

I wouldn’t lump the Koreans in with mainland Chinese.

Koreans, at their worst, act like Americans abroad. They are nothing like the Chinese.

Another thing about the Chinese tourists that irks me is that they are monolithically litterbugs. They’ll throw their styrofoam containers and chicken bones on the ground right beside a trash can.

When I’m offshore in the gulf of Thailand you can tell which boats have a load of Chinese tourists because they leave a trail of plastic/styrofoam garbage in their wakes

Koreans are nothing like these people. Koreans are just slightly redneck versions of the Japanese.
