Two totally different sitchies. Tman and Z were defending a fuck up who was in year 6 or 7 of utter failure. Obama has been president for 6 months and inherited a country in shambles, primarilly due to the failure of policies and values held by Z and Tman - greed, violence and blind support of free markets.

I've voted for more democrats in my life than republicans...but as the democrats have moved further and further to the left (at least the base has)...I no longer can support them...
In fact, if the democrats had put up a halfway decent candidate in 2000 or 2004, I would not have had to hold my nose in the ballot booth...
I don't disagree with you that, today, the republicans have little to no viable candidates...but at this point four years ago, who would have thought we'd be saying President Obama today...

The defense and the attacks from the other side all have the same tone and you can make any excuse you want as to the why's and how's but all that has happened is the quarter ended and the team is now defending the other goal line.
