As long as Marijuana is a federally banned substance
the ATF (Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms)
can deny your rights based on possession of a federally banned substance

I am very much aware that it has a medical exemption with prescription. Because it is typically a conservative state, is why I specifically mentioned it. I'm 100% behind legalization of Pot, I was just surprised of the gun ownership laws affecting users, but not boozers.
