The Federal Government has (ATF) on the books a law against gun ownership and banned substances
and it's been on the books since the late 1930's

As long as Marijuana is a federally banned substance
the ATF (Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms)
can deny your rights based on possession of a federally banned substance

While they are not confiscating guns from anyone with a medical marijuana prescription, they have gained access to the database so the police are denying any new gun purchases if you have a marijuana prescription...

And if you chose to consume marijuana, either in a state that has legalized it, or the old fashion black market way, and you decide to purchase a weapon, you have to fill out an ATF 4473 (unless you do a face-to-face purchase, where legal)...On the 4473, if you tell the truth about your pot consumption, you will be denied...if you falsify your 4473 and deny consumption, then you’ll most likely make the purchase (all other things being good) but run the minor risk of being charged with falsifying a federal document...

My daughter used to live there, in Uptown. Since has moved. I know a lot of people that live there, but I think this is the district that gets move votes than they have registered voters. And that's including dead registered voters that have not been removed from the list.
