What they're arguing for is changing the rules that affect everybody. They are going by the rules as they are now while traveling to locations to argue for changing the rules. They are not arguing that they should be treated any differently than anybody else if and when the rules are changed.

This kind of thing...talking about methods of transportation used by people arguing for changing rules in order to address perceived climate change... is and always has been a red herring. It's an effort to distract attention away from discussion of the substance of the issue.

Just look at their poster boy Al Gore, his extravagant lifestyle makes him a huuuuuuuuggggggeeeee hypocrite.

Lol. If you’re white and and ashamed of it, you have a serious self loathing mental issue. And it probably affects a large % of white liberals.

Apparently, burger joints are only good up until everybody likes them. Then they suck.

They are like the Mumford and Sons of burger joints

I'm actually a fan of the hot dogs (with cheese) at Five Guys. I almost never get a burger there.

I've been to Five Guys twice. Both times it was pretty good. Overpriced, but pretty good.

In-n-Out is about the same deal. A step above the McD's and BKs of the world, a solid fast food meal in a pinch, but nothing more. I think that regional pride is on the line for each, so I get the various loyalties.

Delaware had a similar small chain called Jakes Hamburgers that started in Newark in the early 90s that was really good for about 10 years, but then sort of fell off a cliff as the original guy franchised everything under the name Wayback Burgers, and the quality became hit or miss (mostly miss). I stopped going after it became sort of gross, about 15 years ago or so.

Neat story.
On paper, a curved glass lens should be able to redirect all the rays of light passing through it onto a single target known as its focal point. But in the real world, it just doesn’t work that way. Differences in refraction across the lens, as well as imperfections in its shape and materials, all contribute to some of those light rays, especially those entering the lens near its outer edges, missing the target. It’s a phenomenon known as spherical aberration, and it’s a problem that even Isaac Newton and Greek mathematician Diocles couldn’t crack.

People have lost their gawdamn minds if they think this is animal cruelty. Have they ever owned a cat and do they not understand kinetic energy and why animal that weighs 7 pounds can fall from higher without getting hurt than a 150-pound person?

We might as well make meat consumption illegal now because even non-Peta types are getting really stupid when it comes to animal welfare.

I've been once and thought they were ok. Overpriced and ok isn't appealing to me. I'll take Culvers in the midwest, Burgerville in Oregon over 5 Guys.

Culver’s beats all the ones mentioned here, not even close.
