That's not what stuck out the most to me. The fact that she is entertaining the idea of putting full coverage on a $2500 beater and not covering herself is the one that I can't wrap my mind around. Shit my truck ain't worth much more than that I wouldn't think of full coverage before insuring myself but whatever. It's not that high on your list if falls below cable and your car having better insurance than you do.

I ain't exactly what you would call a conk either, but I do have some of the do it yourself values of the party I guess.
But it is a sports car Ursus. Damn.

AZ is getting his health coverage from the money deposited into his institution by unsuspecting and well meaning little old lady investors, that's mini socialism.

Hogan gets genuine socialized medical care paid for by all us taxpayers, yet he is the biggest mouth piece against socialized medicine. :thumb:

Both feel "ENTITLED" because they are so special, and they worked so hard to get where they are....

ASU, sonny, you are out of this conversation, go start a Wii thread or something.

Greed has put health care beyond the means of nearly half of Americans, yet these conks insist they deserve what is given to them, and nobody else does.

Greed destroyed the mortgage banking business and hats like AZ benefited greatly during the hay day, and he deserves that too. :coffee:

Greed put a dimwit in the White House that took on a budget surplus and gave back a record deficit, a broken banking industry, a failing housing industry, a failed automobile industry, and a health care industry that only rich greedy fucks and government employees can afford. All lost on a huge tax cut for their kind only which was the beginning of the end of our economy, and all they can do is blame Obama, and bitch about the prospect of having to pay taxes again.

Come on fuckers, lob up another lame air balloon, I'll be ready! ;)

Oh and BTW, yes we do have a health policy, and yes it does cost $1,200. a month and yes it is a catastrophic deductible, not like Hoagies socialized government provided coverage. No dental or eye coverage either, how bout you Hoagie?

I think you missed the part where I'm going to get a health insurance quote too? I can bundle it together and save some on the premium. It would be nice to get a few things taken care of, like my bum ankle, and possibly the Essure procedure. I didn't know SF offered health insurance until recently, so a one stop shop would be nice.

I just want to be sure my ass is covered in case something like this happens again. I got damn lucky on this, I'll admit, especially since it was a hit and run. I would have been SOL otherwise.

And Mark? It's a two door sporty coupe. Just accept that I have a cooler car than you and let it go. :coffee:

Also AZ, I'd be perfectly willing to pay a premium based on a sliding scale. I'm pretty sure most people would, actually. I don't HAVE to get something for nothing, but I'd rather have something than nothing.

It's pretty average, pay wise. If I can get on a decent track career-wise, most jobs I take would likely offer some kind of health coverage. I'd be fine then. I mostly meant now, in the interim, while I'm in school.

Don't own a Wii (or any video game system for that matter) you old prick. Why don't you answer the questions and enlighten us? Please, I'm waiting to learn from someone so smart. I mean, you still haven't proven it's an inalienable right or that it is something people should be compelled to pay for. I will be in this conversation if I feel like, Dad. I find it funny that you're telling me not to be involved because of my age when it's your generation has fcuked up health care (and the economy, and started wars).

Oh, again...I thought you were about equality genius...don't young people have a right to post on a message board like old people--or is this not a question of equality? moron

Maybe you don't see the irony in this, but I sure do.
How is the Colonel's health care socialized? Whether he works for the government or private sector is irrelevant. People work and receive a salary and benefits in return. One of the benefits can be health care. The money that is spent on his health care could be saved and returned to shareholders/taxpayers. Not providing health care as a benefit would make the job less appealing and the better employees would look for jobs with health care. The smart employer makes the decision that it makes sense to pay extra to attract better employees because the increased cost will be more than made up for by the increased productivity. What am I missing?
Being wrong about a topic is called post partisanism - kalm

MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

Government package, funded by taxpayers. Socialized medicine, but only available to the Government. Nobody else in the private sector has access to this type of health care, and apparently nobody who does have access thinks anybody else should.

In his earlier life, yes. But not in the last few years of his life. I find it rather insulting that you would lump everyone without health insurance into a loser category. There are many, many productive Americans that because of various circumstances, have to choose between food and insurance or medical treatment. that is not right.
Jon, as a healthcare provider, particularly one that runs a free clinic on the side, I can certainly say that the current system does a very poor job of providing for a certain portion of our population. And it isn't the low-life dope smokers. They get medicade and welfare. It's the working poor. However, I also have a large population of active Military families in my practice (we have a battalion stationed here, and I see a ton of those guys and their families. Their healthcare is the most mismanaged, poorly run, FUBAR shit I have ever dealt with. We have a problem, the solution offered by Mr. Obama and Mrs. Pelosi is not the answer. It is simply an expensive boondogle that will result in even fewer college students choosing Med. School, and even fewer of those that do, choosing family practice or internal medicine. That's just the tip of the iceberg of problems. We need a solution. I don't know what it is, but I don't think the one on the table right now will fix the problem.
Dear lord... please allow this dangerous combination of hair spary, bat slobber, and D.O.T. four automatic transmission fluid to excite my mind, occupy my spirits, and enrage my body, provoking me to kick any man or woman in the back of the head regardless of what he or she has or has not done unto me. All my Best, Earlie Cuyler.

Come on, put your money where your mouth is, step up to the plate, and educate us youngins who can't possibly understand something so complicated only your generation has been able to fcuk up.
What you mean is YOUR ilk conk boy, and looks like you are on schedule to continue the **** up.

Now go beat off with a rope around your neck, please.
Like a stubborn old man, can't simply answer a question. Oh, and please let the youngins have some control, your generation has fcuked up the world enough. Thanks for playing George W, you did great.

As for killing myself, I would suggest you go first. See, you're old, and probably going to die soon, and your medical bills are more than mine, which contribute to higher premiums for me. In addition, with my youthful exuberance, I am able to do more things, quicker and without getting tired so quickly.

I'd probably quit posting on this thread if you'd man up and answer those simple questions. I'm guessing that means you can't. As for a "conk boy," from one "former Republican" to another, come up with something substantive.

Government package, funded by taxpayers. Socialized medicine, but only available to the Government. Nobody else in the private sector has access to this type of health care, and apparently nobody who does have access thinks anybody else should.

Government entitlement, yessiree!
Simple answer: Go get a job with the government. :thumb: :thumb:
