Best Performance: (#13) Montana St. 38, (#12) Southeast Missouri St. 17 - The Bobcats score touchdowns on all four of their third-quarter drives to break things open against another one of last year's round-of-16 squads.
Worst Performance: Southern Utah 14, (#11) Northern Iowa 34 - The T-Birds fall behind 34-0 and still have yet to show they've improved from last year's 1-10 debacle.
Most Surprising Result: North Dakota 7, (#1) North Dakota St. 38 - I know starting QB Nate Ketteringham was out, but I figured NoDak's defense would at least provide some resistance.

Worst Performance: Northwestern St. 7, (DII) Midwestern St. 33 - I picked the Demons to lose here, but I definitely didn't see that kind of margin coming.
Most Surprising Result: Lamar 23, Mississippi Valley St. 20 (OT) - There's now some reason to believe MVSU is improved, but an overtime win over them still doesn't inspire confidence in a playoff return for the Cardinals.

Best Performance: Dayton 42, (#14) Indiana St. 35 - The Flyers get their biggest poll-ranking upset ever thanks to Jack Cook's 303 yards of total offense and 4 total touchdowns.
Worst Performance: Marist 3, Georgetown 43 - The Red Foxes are embarrassed by a team that lost to Davidson last week.
Most Surprising Result: Dayton 42, (#14) Indiana St. 35 - Dayton picks up their first win over a current MVFC team since they beat Youngstown in 1977.
I have to be honest, I was going to try to disagree with you about SUU being the worst performance again this week, but going game by game I decided I couldn't. Im glad they ended up scoring 14 in the second half but that was too little too late. Looks like another season of dragging our balls through a mile of broken glass.

I though about going with Idaho, but CWU is typically a good DII team so I didn't.

I kicked around NAU vs UA but they kept it a decent score despite UA being an iffy FBS team so far.

Best Performance: Holy Cross 13, New Hampshire 10 - After the Crusader offense was tackled a couple yards short of the endzone on fourth down, a fumble was forced by Liam Doran and recovered in the endzone by Joe Lang for the game-winning score.
Worst Performance: Bucknell 10, Sacred Heart 30 - Previous Bucknell teams could at least claim a decent defense. This Bucknell squad is currently allowing 601 yards-per-game.
Most Surprising Result: Georgetown 43, Marist 3 - This is the first time the Hoyas have broken the 40-point barrier since 2013.
Best Performance: Sacred Heart 30, Bucknell 10 - Pioneer QB Logan Marchi throws for 316 yards and 3 touchdowns while RB Julius Chestnut puts up 187 total yards and 3 total TDs.

Most Surprising Result: Robert Morris 7, (DII) Kentucky St. 13 - Did I mention that Kentucky State was a winless DII last year?

1) Is it me, or does the SWAC seem to be slowly improving?
2). UNH will still get in the playoffs. It’s been at least one whole season since they have and they did the last time they lost to the crusaders.
3). The despite the schollie increase, the NEC appears to be on par with the PL.
