There is a NDSU tailgate behind the left field wall of the baseball stadium. 93 and I are going up together and plan to arrive around 10:30. We’ll check out the NDSU party and see if any of their AGS deplorables are there. I think 93 already mentioned where our seats are.

I won't even be in Newark until after 11. I'll be over at the Boy Scout lot with my kids. If we stop tailgating early enough I might head over. I know where 93 is sitting - we had extensive updates on whether his seat was going to be installed during the construction. My seats are detailed over on GoHens. Enjoy.

GF and I have met before, but I don't recall that we talked much. I have spoken at much more length with his bro, BHBK, who cannot be there due to youth fall baseball commitments. BHBK made one of the crab feasts at Sambo's.

At any rate, I know where GF sits and he knows where we're sitting (D, Z, 12-13), so one way or another we'll meet up, even if it's a quick "hello".

I reread GF's post on last page. Maybe we can say "hello" at the Boy Scout lot, where we will also be parking. You said you're near the church, right GF? You guys used to fly a white background helmet flag with like a homemade chicken over that or something? That used to be my reference for finding you guys in the Gold Champ lot when we all used to be there circa the good old days <2011.

Hoping for the Hens to not be completely humiliated. Would love to keep the bison to a score starting with 3 and get the Hens to a score starting with 2. It's an L for sure, but just hoping for some respectability for a #18 facing #1 God's gift to FCS.

It was 28-0 NDSU with 2:30 remaining in the first quarter last year. So there shouldn't be anywhere for the Hens to go but up this year. But we'll see.

It's a perfect day for football here. Actually a slight chill in the air (low 60s) when I stepped outside at 6:30. Kickoff forecast 81F, 66% humidity, partly sunny, light wind out of SSW.

Welp, 93 and I had a good time at the game today, notwithstanding the result, and met several of NDSU’s fine AGS posters. See the AGS game thread for photos and commentary. Very impressive bunch, those Bison: both their team and their fans.

Meeting J. Gilmour Dobie would have made my day complete.

I don't have a problem with that concept from the defensive side of the ball - those guys should've stopped it. But let's be honest, calling a fake FG there is a classic douche move by a program that's supposedly not about that. Kick the FG or go for it on 4th down. They've certainly had time to learn how to win in style, but that was not indicative of that. Both positions are right - if you're the defensive, don't whine, just stop it. If you're the offense, don't do something so clearly douchie.

And yes, some of those GoHens guys are just whiners.
