I-AA Game of the Week - WEEK SIX

Hard to pick a Big Sky game. They are equally interesting or uninteresting. I don't care enough to figure out which one to put in, so STFU.

Is the fact we're on this thing every week a testament to us and our schedule, or an indictment of how thin FCS is?

Either way, I dunno, UCA vs Nichollls, or UNI vs YSU I guess

I went with ISUr/NDSU. NDSU is a young team with a rookie coach and their close game against UCD and then Montana beating UCD by 25 makes me wonder about NDSU. This game could go a long way toward telling us what kind of team NDSU really has.

Battle for first in the MVFC. Last year an experienced NDSU team beat the Redbirds 28-14 at home, Robinson ran for 128. Defense this year is not as good, new coach, young team on the road.

OK Gil.
Are you positive that NDSU is the dominate team in FCS? They might be but I think there are some questions and this game will help to answer them.

I went with NDSU @ ILSU. Preaseason I thought NDSU would ‘slip’ to 10-2/6-2, with @ ILSU being one of the losses.

CCSU @ Sacred Heart? :suspicious: The same Sacred Heart that was losing to a mediocre Maine team 42-0 AT THE HALF? With all the other games, why include that garbage?

Went with Central Arkansas v. Nicholls. Battle of the Southland. ;)

NDSU v. ISUr will be interesting but not sure how much of a game it will be even with a new coach and all the new pieces in play at NDSU.

I actually went Furman @ Samford as I think that will be for the SoCon title and has huge playoff implications already.

I picked UM vs. ISU. I'm hoping the team that beat UCD will show up. Amateur teams are unpredictable.

3-1 (1-0) vs 3-1 (1-0) :coffee:
Over the Schools of the Deaf and Blind, Little Sisters of the Poor, etc..

Sacred Heart wins over:
Lafayette (0-5)
Bucknell (0-4)
LIU (0-3)
One mediocre team they played, Maine, were down 42-0 at the half.

CCSU wins over:
Fordham (2-3)
Merrimac (0-3 vs Div I, beat 2 Div II)
Valpo (0-4, non scholly)

So wins over teams that are 2-22 vs Div I.

ILSU down 3 offensive starters, and OG & their 2 standout WR..

I took the NDSU game. ISU has a shot, and I’d love to see NDSU go into the playoffs with a loss...not being the #1 seed...having to go on the road...
