Most people's prior runs are now lost to the ether.

Thought these were interesting.

Looks like AZ has shifted left since 2018

Am I really that much of an outlier? So i took this test and, lo and behold, I’m right where I thought I was. Perfectly centered in my beliefs and more of a socially progressive libertarian. So, in closing: Suck it, treep. YOU are the outlier.

So far, BDK appears to be the only one on the authoritarian spectrum here.

That tells me you don't understand the chart.

Marijuana legalisation would move you down the chart... not left on the chart. The other social issues likely would as well.

"Right" vs. "left" is economics. According to your chart, you've moved left on "redistributive" vs "free market" economics. :suspicious:

about the 5th time I’ve taken this and for the first time I wound up significantly to the right. The last several times I took it I was closer to the center (slightly right) and much more libertarian

This time, I answered the questions by asking myself if there were foreseeable negative consequences or costs to the implementation of my desires. If the answer was yes, then I went with the softer agree or disagree, which pushed me to the right and just slightly more authoritarian. I didn’t change direction on any answer.

Which goes back to what I was talking about earlier - tests like this and polls typically do not dig deeply enough - I think Americans (myself included) tend to be much more charitable when costs or consequences are not in play

There is a happy medium. Too far right you miss out on all the beer/wine, too far left and you have to be PC.

I was closest to dead center, just 2 notches above it. That kind of surprised me, thought I was more to the right.

It's a lot longer, but I personally enjoy this "test" a little more due to the detail:

https://8values.github.io/

Mine:

Overall: Libertarian Socialism

Economic Axis: Socialist, 89.0%

Diplomatic Axis: Internationalist, 78.7%

Civil Axis: Libertarian, 80.4%

Societal Axis: Revolutionary, 94.7%

You know, I don't think they asked the same questions they asked last time we went through this.
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth
Could I ever be a star?

Another interesting test...again, with some poorly worded questions, but here's mine:

Economic Axis: Centrist: 40.9% Equality/59.1% Markets
Diplomatic Axis: Patriotic: 64.9% Nation/35.1% World
Civil Axis: Moderate: 55.4% Liberty/44.6% Authority
Societal Axis: Neutral: 47.0% Tradition/53.0% Progress

Interesting. Centrist. Moderate. Neutral. Trips words are socialist, revolutionary....yet I'M somehow the one who's a danger to the world.
