Here's an oldie but goodie: Trump claiming he predicted Bin Laden.
https://www.usnews.com/news/politics/ar ... -bin-laden
Here's a FactCheck.org article on it from back when he was lying about it during his Presidential campaign:
https://www.factcheck.org/2015/12/trump ... rediction/
Here's what he wrote in his book:
What's amazing about him is that he does this crap when anybody can look up what actually happened or what he said and it's clear that he's bullshitting. The question is: Why does this bullshitting work for him with respect to 40% to 45% of the population? What kind of "idiot" problem do we have with our population?
CAVEAT: It's unlikely that Trump actually wrote what's quoted above from his book. That's WAY too articulate to realistically have come from Trump. But, whoever wrote it, they didn't predict Bin Laden would be a big problem.

So he did MENTION Bin Laden. But no reasonable person would say he recognized Bin Laden as a threat.Instead of one looming crisis hanging over us, we face a bewildering series of smaller crises, flash points, standoffs, and hot spots. We’re not playing the chess game to end all chess games anymore. We’re playing tournament chess — one master against many rivals. One day we’re all assured that Iraq is under control, the UN inspectors have done their work, everything’s fine, not to worry. The next day the bombing begins. One day we’re told that a shadowy figure with no fixed address named Osama bin-Laden is public enemy number one, and U.S. jetfighters lay waste to his camp in Afghanistan. He escapes back under some rock, and a few news cycles later it’s on to a new enemy and new crisis.

No. The fact that he is a President is a problem. And the fact that we have something like 40% to 45% of the population supporting him is even more of a problem This is not a "move on" type of situation. This is an issue. There is a problem with the population of this country. We have a serious issue when 46% of the voters would vote for somebody like that.UNI88 wrote:Everyone on here who isn't licking Trump's nut sack knows that he is and has always been full of sh!t. Re: RE: Re: Liar in Chief
John, I would lay good money that there is at least a small percentage of that 46% that agree with what you are saying. The problem comes down to they feel like Trump is the lesser of two evils and nothing the Democrats have recently done, has done anything to change their minds. If anything it has strengthened their beliefs that they made the right choice in '16.JohnStOnge wrote:No. The fact that he is a President is a problem. Democrats pandering to the fringe left bloc of voters is not a way to sway people from voting Trump. They are their own worst enemy.
Trump's best PR came from the Democrats own actions and everything they currently do is feeding the narrative he is trying to push.
