Must be one of those "eye of the beholder" things because I don't think he looks uncomfortable. Look at the 10 second mark, Obama is clearly gesturing (at least to me) but not offering his hand for a hand shake.

I've watched the video about 10 times. The FIRST two guys he looks like he's trying to shake hands....then he switches to "introductory" mode.... Guess he needed a teleprompter to tell him what to do.
